I know this isn’t an airport etc etc, and I’ll be sticking around here a while yet…
But I’m also posting very similar content over in the other place:

Really great video on a AT&T Long Lines bunker built in 1962 for the high reliability long distance circuits the government used. Wonderfully preserved and apparently some active equipment still housed there today.
What’s this mystery object stuck to my telephone?

**Exhibition announcement**
I am really excited to exhibit some of my work to date at BT's London Headquarters.
The exhibition is open to the public 5-7pm on Thursday the 21 September.
Please RSVP via tinyurl.com/telephoneexchang… if you would like to join as spaces are limited.
Took me far too long to get around to editing this, but this was last weeks THG members swapmeet at unicorn kiosks.
Not the largest swapmeet ever, but very enjoyable and I always love visiting unicorn.. their yard is just so pretty!

This thing still works! Made from an electromechanical regenerator (basically 40 bits of FIFO memory but electromechanical) as a musical instrument. It hasn't been wired in for a while but now back on again plugged into @NotObsoleteKent

It's been a fun day creating these small prototypes of standard types A, B1 (with different roofs) and H, using both analogue and digital methods. More to come!

I've just found this promotional Rabbit Phone video that I'd not seen before - it was only uploaded earlier this year.

I am still interested to know if anyone ended up with one of the proper Rabbit Phone base stations used in shops etc.
I'm not aware of any in the hands of collectors or museums and it would be great to know if one exists out there, somewhere

It’s now official, and here it is, the internationally acclaimed Biscuit Phonetic Alphabet, an exciting alternative to the current mix already in use!
