Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, but especially to the genius at @NotionHQ who proposed moving ingredients lists and instructions to the top of a page when clipping a post from a recipe blog.

I would 100% try to get a job at @DisneyPlus to fix episode replay behavior. As any given parent, I want to play a completed episode of #Bluey from the beginning when directly selected from the menu. Not watch credits briefly and get railroaded into the next one.
the first thing our new hire did was fix a bug that's been bugging him forever as a user prior to joining. he then breathed a sigh of relief and submitted his two weeks' notice. wtf??

This is gold. As a designer who also codes, I’d have been a much more productive collaborator on web apps whenever we switched frameworks if we considered #htmlfirst. Would defer to a project’s CSS-smiths on a [well-documented] set of utilities over Tailwind, but y’know…

What are the ethics of trading a piece of candy from a Halloween distribution surplus with one from a child's collection without that child's knowledge... provided that the candy given to the child is a type they find more desirable? Asking for a friend.

Baking with a kitchen scale is amazing. It feels devil-may-care dumping ingredients into the bowl while also allowing me to secretly care a lot

This was a lot of fun to put together!
We 💛 Shopify’s metaobjects at Known Decimal and the extensibility they bring to storefronts. Get cooking with @loremipsam as she kicks off The Joy of Metaobjects with a recipe for a custom CMS on the #decimalpoints blog! knowndecimal.com/blogs/point…

My digital barony for a less tedious way to design and develop pages I don't want live just yet on #Shopify than copying and pasting preview paths onto a Shopify CLI theme preview link...

There are some unexpected synergies between GMing a #ttrpg and playing with a toddler. I'm hoping that one day, I'll be able to give an NPC a non-New Jersey accent and Bluey may actually sound Australian.

I've always been impressed with what @marzbrewing and friends (or... buddies) are turning out in general, was pleased to see them recognized for their slick typography sensibilities too

Wrote a thing about turning simple strings into something way more meaningful for @knowndecimal. Special thanks to @bdewater for the missing piece regarding querying POROs in ActiveRecord! 🙏 knowndecimal.com/blogs/point… #ruby #activerecord #rubyonrails

Only just figured out how to click-and-drag and clone artboards in #AdobeXD. My skin is clear, my crops are thriving.

Right after I’d gotten over there only being Encore classes on my birthday, @onepeloton devs got me and turned me over to the 30s group a couple hours early based on UTC. 🙃 Does feel quintessentially “Welcome to 30,” though.
Stumbling on a browser bug that's made you look like a clown for who knows how long and then subsequently feeling the moral duty to replicate it and file a bug report is a real bummer.
