idk what the scope is, but i’ve been dealing with a 25ft run to a workstation in a server rack for like 6 years, so i’ve run into almost every disappointment imaginable on this topic.
yeah, it was like a short cricket bat with speed holes drilled into it where I was at.
conversely, those holes made it not hurt at all, but you still had to fake it to get out of there.
you’d be fine with sunshine/moonlight over ip on this setup though, which has perfectly acceptable latency, but that adds additional complexity on both ends.

i think you’ll be a bit disappointed in the latency since the only way to get 4k over that cable is with compression. full bandwidth hdmi and displayport needs mtp om3 fiber.
