the automatic transmission knows what gear it is in at all times, it knows this because it knows what gears it isnt. by subtracting which gear it is in, from which gears it isnt, the transmission uses deviations to shift from the gear it was in, to the gear it now is.

I find it funny how "its an 80/20 issue!" always gets brought up for why we should be okay with rolling trans rights back, but never for why dems should roll israel support back. Dems clearly don't have a problem sticking with unpopular 80/20 positions when it comes to israel.
