This week I’ve seen men ridicule women for dressing “too provocatively” and other men ridicule Muslim women for dressing “too conservatively,” and its a reminder that maybe men should shut the hell up, stop worrying about how women dress, and instead expend their energy on getting men to stop raping and abusing women. This is not a high bar.

Many people think that way - and act that way, too including me!
As soon as products or services are misused for political blackmail, that’s a red line.

I’m a shareholder of both TSLA and SPCX and the family drives Teslas since 2018. In the past I’ve always said separate the person Elon from the businesses… but the stareshield gate have made me reconsider my planned Starlink subscription. Apparently this was my red line :(

Canada is official cutting ties with Elon Musk's Starlink.
Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed Canada is moving away from Starlink, heavily backing a $2.3B contract for homegrown rival Telesat Lightspeed instead. 👏 🇨🇦

Yesterday, Russia launched 217 guided aerial bombs, 8,784 attack drones and carried out 2,607 shelling attacks across Ukraine.
All. In. One. day.
Trump: "Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Trump's remarks were made the same day Russia conducted a drone strike killing six civilians including children in a Kharkiv region park, plus missile and energy infrastructure attacks leaving hundreds of thousands without power.

France spent a century telling Africa it was bringing "civilization."
The "mission civilisatrice." The white man’s burden in a beret.
They meant: French language, French law, French culture, French schools where African children learned the history of "their ancestors," Gauls with blond hair and blue eyes, while French companies extracted the rubber, the phosphate, the uranium, the labor.
That was the civilization.
Now the grandchildren of those Africans live in the banlieues of Paris, Lyon and Lille, and in the quartiers nord of Marseille.
French citizens, products of the French school system, speaking French as their first language.
And France is asking why they’re so difficult to integrate.
Integrate into what, exactly?
The civilization that went to their grandparents’ country and took everything?
Or the republic that promised equality and delivered a suburb with a police problem and a school with no books?

Thank you.
The credit goes to the 18,000 #ForeverCanadian volunteers. They made it happen.

Israel has no right to exist.
No country has a "right to exist".
Did Yugoslavia have a "right to exist"?
Did the USSR have a "right to exist"?
Did Czechoslovakia have a "right to exist"?
Did the German Democratic Republic have a "right to exist"?
Stop already with that foolish claim.
The IHRA is a complete fraud created by Zionists to suppress honest discourse about Israel and Palestine. Its creation had nothing at all to do with combatting actual antisemitism.

The intellectual border wall held firm and even in the most MAGA-infested Canadian province, only 23 % voted for independence.
That nonsense is now dead and buried.

A brief review of recent technical “errors” at Meta:
1. Restricting the Facebook pages of Brazilian president Lula who is in a runoff election against a Trump-favored candidate
2. Shutting down the pages of Albanians protesting Jared Kushner’s plans to build a luxury resort in the country
3. Rejecting ads for a documentary critical of Elon Musk
4. Shutting down the No Kings instagram page in the middle of a major anti-Trump protest

🇺🇦🇩🇪 THE END OF PUTIN'S DRONES! GERMANY IS SENDING UKRAINE ITS LATEST SKYRANGER AIR DEFENSE SYSTEMS!
Germany is supplying Ukraine with advanced Skyranger mobile air defense systems manufactured by the German defense company Rheinmetall.
These modern, highly automated air defense systems are designed to intercept drones, cruise missiles, and other low-flying aerial threats, providing a powerful additional layer of protection against Russian attacks.
Key features and capabilities:
Drone-free zones: Each Skyranger unit is designed to protect a designated area against hostile unmanned aerial vehicles. Under suitable operational conditions, a single system can help establish a protective zone covering approximately 4 × 4 kilometers.
Intelligent ammunition: The system uses programmable airburst ammunition. Instead of relying solely on a direct hit, its cannon fires projectiles that release a concentrated cloud of tungsten subprojectiles at a precisely calculated point in front of the target, dramatically increasing the probability of destroying incoming drones.
Versatile platforms: The Skyranger family includes the Skyranger 30, equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon and optional short-range air defense missiles, and the Skyranger 35, featuring a powerful 35 mm KDG revolver cannon. The modular turret can be integrated onto armored vehicles, including Boxer platforms, while the Skyranger 35 has also been developed for integration with Leopard 1-based vehicles.
High rate of fire: Depending on the configuration, the weapons can achieve rates of fire of approximately 1,000–1,250 rounds per minute, allowing rapid engagement of incoming aerial threats.
For Ukraine, these deliveries are particularly important as Russia continues launching waves of attack drones against cities, energy facilities, and other critical infrastructure.
Putin's drones are facing an increasingly dangerous enemy. Germany is helping Ukraine build a stronger shield over its skies. 🇺🇦🇩🇪

🟥 I woke up a short while ago, bursting with pride and love for Alberta and Canada. 🙂🍁
Despite the deluge of foreign money, disinformation, social media manipulation, and other underhanded influence tactics at work, Albertans stood strong, in true Canadian fashion and delivered a clear and resounding message:
We are one land, one people, one Canada: proud of where we came from, unwavering in who we are, and patriotic to our core, forever and always.
Thank you, compatriots. 🇨🇦
Your defending of the Maple Leaf yesterday, shall be marked in history for all time.

I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head.
Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion.
The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin.
This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

They will tell you to be peaceful.
To protest within sanctioned channels.
To write letters.
To vote.
To trust the process.
The French aristocracy told the peasants the same thing in 1788.
The British told the American colonists the same thing in 1775.
The slaveholders told the enslaved the same thing for three hundred years.
The process they are asking you to trust is the same process that produced the conditions you are protesting.
The channels they are asking you to use were designed by the people who benefit from the current arrangement.
This is not cynicism.
This is the pattern, repeating across centuries, across continents, across every society that has ever had to decide whether the people with power would voluntarily give any of it up.
They have not. They do not. They will not.
History is not a suggestion.

The White House has the audacity to threaten Europe for daring to reduce our dependence on the White House and SpaceX for our own security.
They have blood on their hands and should be ashamed of themselves.
European companies face “devastating” retaliation from Washington if Brussels presses ahead with plans to restrict American rivals such as Elon Musk’s SpaceX from parts of the European market, the US ambassador to the EU warned in an interview with @FT’s @BMoens and @HenryJFoy.
