If we actually vetted our systems we would have plenty of money in our programs. We have too many people scamming our systems and getting away with it. BC NDP proposed provincial income tax increases are NOT a so called millionaires tax.
The 2% increase starts at $190,405 to $265,545 - upping the rate from 16.8% to 18.8%.
On Income from $265,545 to $1 million the rate increases from 20.5% to 22.5%.
Income above $1 million: A new top tax bracket would be introduced at 24.5% - Pushing the top marginal provincial/federal rate to 57.5% on income over $1 million - the highest in North America.

David Eby earns an annual total salary of $231,881.00 is 20 k a month ! his pension will be a minimum of 110k a yr. David Eby broke every promise he made. Where’s our 1000.00 dollar grocery rebate. This rebate was supposed to be yearly so he owes us all 3000.00 since 2024. Instead he cancelled it and gave the entire NDP party of MLAs 60 thousand raise each and junior ministers got 41 thousand each. Vote NDP out for good. Also he sold out our ferry fleet to china for construction which lost thousands of jobs and at a cost of 1.6 billion loss to the Canadian economy and gdp.

Let’s cap fuel costs
David Eby, campaigning for re-election, promises to take on grocery giants by capping retail profit margins on milk, eggs, cheese, butter and poultry—all products covered by supply management. That system protects farm revenues, but grocers still need to cover purchasing, transportation, refrigeration, labour and spoilage costs.
Quebec already caps retail prices for certain formats of regular milk. No province currently imposes comparable retail price ceilings on eggs or poultry. The economic risk is straightforward: if a ceiling leaves retailers unable to cover their costs, they have less incentive to stock those products, potentially reducing selection and availability.
Protecting prices at the farm while squeezing margins at the store does not make those costs disappear.

Let me get this straight the BC NDP called an election so they could have a majority government when they already had a majority government. Now they’re making election promises like they didn’t just have the majority government and could’ve done every one of their election promises without an election.
