How’s that going, @RobertJenrick? 🤔
Southwell by-election, in your own constituency:
Cllr Penny Rainbow - Conservative: 2,019
Reform: 1,159
Labour: 646
Lib Dem: 545
Green: 88
A Conservative majority of 860, and Reform beaten by almost 2 to 1.

Labour talk about giving people "breathing space”.
The truth is they are the ones choking the economy.

The government are all over the place on defence spending. I don't think Andy Burnham realises he commits to spending 3% of GDP on defence by 2030 in this interview...his Defence Secretary won’t even make that commitment!
When the government are saying Britain needs to be ready for war in 1000 days, hitting a defence spending target in 2035 is too late. Getting to 3% by 2030 means spending the money to be ready NOW, not in 9 years time.
‘You’ve just spooked everybody by saying stockpile…what are you doing to invest in defence?’
Susanna Reid challenges the PM on whether he will hit the defence spending target of 3% of GDP by 2030.
Andy Burnham insists his government ‘will’ hit the target.

Ofgem have today revealed that Britain might not have enough gas in a worst case scenario this winter.
Burnham says that it's better to produce oil and gas in Britain than importing it. So why is he banning new licences?
Here’s the real reason we need to get Britain drilling👇

Finally. Labour spent 2 years faffing about to make a decision which Conservatives had already approved 2 years ago.
If they’d done this in the summer we’d have had that gas heating British homes this Christmas.
An unnecessary waste of time and money by a party that puts its own interest above the country’s.

Cliveden House burnt down in 1849. The architect behind Parliament rebuilt it in two years.
Now, Parliament has spent over a decade just planning its own repairs.
What happened to the country that built things? 👇

A powerful intervention from the head of the Army. Something is coming, and government needs to wake up.
He says the public will have to make sacrifices so we can prioritise defence and security.
This is no time for “national security can’t come at the expense of social security”. Hard choices are coming whether ministers like it or not.
I have been clear where I would start: cut welfare spending and put the money into defence.

Burnham says no deals with the Greens - has he forgotten about local government ⁉️
Sheffield: Two-party joint administration - Labour and Green Groups
Warwick: Green–Labour coalition; both parties hold cabinet positions
Lewes: Green–Labour Co-operative Alliance; current council records confirm both group leaders hold cabinet responsibilities
Havant: Labour-led coalition with Greens and Liberal Democrats
West Oxfordshire: Liberal Democrat-Labour-Green alliance, renewed in May 2026
North Somerset: Partnership of Liberal Democrats, Labour, Greens and independent groups
Rother: Independent–Labour–Liberal Democrat–Green alliance
Runnymede: Joint administration containing Labour, Greens, Liberal Democrats and residents/independents
West Suffolk: Labour, Liberal Democrats and Greens within the Progressive Alliance, governing in partnership with independents

Andy Burnham wants to rig our electoral system.
He thinks that party fixers in Westminster, not the British people, should decide who runs our country.
And Labour won't even say whether they'll put this massive change to our democracy to the people. Disgraceful.

You voted to put the rights of illegal migrant men before the safety of women and girls.
That’s what happened yesterday. Don’t try to pretend otherwise.
Do you think British people didn’t have rights before the ECHR and won’t have them after we leave? Do you think that Australians, Canadians and New Zealanders don’t have rights because they aren’t in the ECHR? It’s a nonsense argument and you know it.
If you genuinely believe this nonsense you have written, then your complete ignorance of how rights in this country came about is as shocking as your failure to listen to the genuine concerns of women about their safety.

I invited women from Piddington to Parliament because Labour isn’t listening to them.
Their village of 300 faces over 1,200 male illegal migrants on its doorstep. Meanwhile, Labour is handing out leaflets explaining to these men that rape is a crime. You couldn’t make it up.
Today we forced a vote to stop it. Labour and the Lib Dems refused to back us.
Women should feel safe in their communities. Conservatives will leave the ECHR so we can deport illegal migrants instead of forcing small villages to bear the consequences.
