1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that.
2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that.
3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that.
4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that.
5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that?
I think he’s been compromised.

We need Gang of 8 brief, order to retain all records, full IG probe, hearings, etc. - just too important to sweep under by Rubio. If the USG (anyone, Musk, WH or DoD) deliberately withheld a force protection measure that ended up killing Ukrainians, and putting US personnel at Embassy Kyiv and American citizens in Ukraine at risk, that is a very big deal.

I was very surprised to learn that our vice president has spoken on the phone with Putin. That is very uncharacteristic of Putin to have a call with any US government official besides the president. Are there any readouts of these calls?
Vance: "I've never met Putin in person. I've spoken to him on the phone. He was calmer than you might expect. The American media has a stereotype of him. He's very deliberate and measured in his words.
I think, at his core, he's someone who cares about Russia's interests as he sees them. One reason he respects the President is that he recognizes the President cares about the interests of the American people."
