- Parcel not delivered

Obviously not using Rapido again, but trying to get an update on my parcel / get the contents back.
Can someone from @rapidobikeapp please help 🙏
Great insights on the LGD and jewellery market by the consumer team at Blume!
Played a very small, early role in the making of this thesis and in awe of all the work the team has put into this. Kudos to @apurvavc and @muskan9gupta on this detailed analysis!
Are lab-grown diamonds (LGD) here to replace natural diamonds?
That’s the tension at the heart of the LGD debate. While they are chemically identical to mined diamonds, they serve a different purpose.
The LGD story is one of changing behaviour — of how diamonds are moving from rare, milestone purchases to everyday, self-expressive, repeatable ones.
@apurvavc (Apurva) and @muskan9gupta (Muskan) from Blume’s investment team have spent months tracking this trend, speaking to growers, cutters, retailers, brands, and end-consumers. Their latest Bluprint breaks down the what, why now, and where the opportunity lies across the LGD stack.
Here are some of the ideas that stood out:
💎 This isn’t “cheap diamonds.” It’s a new purchase behaviour.
LGDs are enabling optionality, not just affordability. A 1-carat stone is no longer reserved for engagement , it’s now birthday-worthy, boardroom-ready, and self-giftable. The shift is from “once-in-a-lifetime” to “why not now.”
🛍️ India is shifting from store-of-value to style-within-budget.
Today’s buyer is mixing 9k/14k/18k gold, silver, fashion jewellery and LGDs. Jewellery is becoming a way to reflect identity and mood; its something you wear for *yourself*, not for future liquidity. Jewellery is evolving from a long-term store of value to a short-cycle style statement.
🧠 The real barrier isn’t awareness. It’s perception.
In a survey of India1 consumers, 90% had heard of lab-grown diamonds, but only 40% were open to considering a purchase, primarily due to concerns around prestige. But once the prestige hurdle is crossed, repeat behaviour kicks in. The narrative around LGDs should change to make it acceptable for everyday wear to increase conversion.
Natural diamonds will always have emotional equity. But LGDs are expanding the pie — and reshaping the definition of what a diamond means in everyday life.

Blume’s State of India report was an insightful read, as always. The section on q-comm, and this particular analysis, stood out.
The common narrative—framing q-comm as an "India 1" product—misses the big picture in my view. (1/n)
Delighted to release the 4th edition of the Indus Valley Report to the interwebs! Hope you all have fun (and learning) reading & reviewing this!
@anurag_pagaria @llnachull @dhruvtrehan9 and I spend a lot of hours on this report, and learnt a lot about India and Indus Valley through this. We are grateful to the founders who gave us time and info on their companies, as well as the analysts + research houses whose work we built on! Also grateful to our colleagues at @blumeventures whose feedback and support was incredibly helpful to get this report out!

It's that time of the year - our Indus Valley Annual Report "(IVAR) weekend"!
Kudos and heartiest congrats to the IVAR trio — @sajithpai Partner @BlumeVentures with @anurag_pagaria and @llnachull from our Investment Team, for painstakingly preparing and putting their 2025 edition out there in the startup/venture ecosystem ether!
Amongst the many unique data points & insights, highlighting a few that stand out ....
* There are 14 helpful 'viewing lenses'
* There is not just "one India" but rather India 1, 2 and 3
* While “🇮🇳 remains the world's fastest-growing major economy (6.5% for 2025) and is ranked #4 in market cap at $4.5T... on a per capita level, India ranks 149th” (would love to see this wide disparity / economic paradox corrected, and this gap being tremendously reduced over the next decade!!)
Seeing Sajith with Anurag & Nachu consistently pushing the envelope on industry thought leadership make all of us at Blume proud!
Take a bow, folks 🤛🏻🙌🏻
