Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks.
Caught in the attack was Post photographer Heidi Levine. โThey just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,โ Levine said. wapo.st/4yt6dHY

โLet me die,โ American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah.
Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah.
Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah.
"The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him.
Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalistsโ armed only with a slingshot.

To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. Itโs those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.

mike rogers is literally just doing this as his campaign strategy:
Michigan Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers was pressed by @edokeefe over supporters displaying signs calling his Democratic opponent, Abdul El-Sayed, a terrorist and remarks by Republican Sen. John Kennedy suggesting El-Sayed sleeps in a bin Laden jersey.
โYou have to admit that Senator Kennedy is a very humorous guy,โ Rogers responded.
โIs he, in your view, a terrorist?โ O'Keefe pressed. โLook at the data. Itโs pretty clear,โ Rogers replied, without specifying which data he was referencing.
El-Sayed has vehemently denied any connections to terrorism and calls the repeated attacks Islamophobic.

To put it bluntly amidst all the brouhaha:
1. Israel is not a Jewish state.
2. Jews are not a national or political entity.
3. Zionism is not โa partโ of or โinherentโ in Judaism; itโs the complete negation of our faith.
4. Eretz Yisrael, the โLand of Israel,โ does not translate as the โState of Israel.โ
The basic concepts are being lost amongst the sea of misinformation propagated by an army of Zionist accounts.
But it will prevail. Truth always does.

On 30 September 2000, the world watched as Jamal al-Durrah tried to shield his 12 year old son, Muhammad, from Israeli occupation forces. Muhammad al-Durrah was killed that day, a child whose final moments, caught on camera, became one of the most searing images of the Second Intifada and of Palestinian history.
For Palestinians, this is not just footage preserved in history. It is a wound carried across generations. We recognize Jamalโs outstretched arm because it is every parentโs instinct, to shield, to sacrifice, to stand between their child and harm. We remember Muhammad not as an image, but as a boy with a name, a family, and a future that was stolen. His killing was not something we merely saw; it was something we absorbed, something that settled into our collective memory and never left.
