It's a little embarrassing to have to ask friends for help, but since I can't do it myself, I'd like to ask y'all to please take out the garbage today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

My favorite music/math video ever: When you speed up a 3-against-2 polyrhythm, it becomes a perfect 5th interval, because the ratio between the two frequencies of a perfect fifth is 3:2.
🎙️In the latest episode of the core․py podcast we dive deep into #Python's memory allocation. This will help us cover reference counting and garbage collection in the future.
♦️This time, we're focusing on pymalloc, The Sims, and YAML.

Python 3.14's first alpha release came out the other day, and has just made it onto the Windows Store. It's unlisted, but if you'd like it, it's at microsoft.com/store/apps/9NT…
Also, we updated our signing certificate, so it's now issued by Azure Trusted Signing and not DigiCert.

As a Python library developer, what features we can use is constrained by the lower bound of versions supported, so dropping 3.8 brings some nice goodies to use:
* pipe syntax for combining dicts `x | y`
* type hints with standard collections: `list[str]`
* using zoneinfo instead of pytz
Anything else big I'm missing?
