Jesus, I trust in you.
The most important message of the 20th century didn't come from MLK, Einstein, JFK, Gandhi, or any pope.
It came from a simple Polish nun, who heard it from Jesus.
"Today I am sending you with my mercy to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to my Merciful Heart."
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come
Let this blest assurance control
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
And hath shed His own blood for my soul
It is well
With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul

"Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul". -Psalm 143:8
Obligation energy vs. Inspiration energy Where are you creating from?
"I have to" & "I need to" are obligation --> feels tight, heavy
"I want to" and "I get to" are inspiration energy --> feels empowering, motivating & free
This is a critical distinction in your leadership and how you show up.
Leadership isn't a title or a position, it's a practice.
And the evolution of your leadership and personal mastery happens by deepening your learning, and then forwarding the action (i.e., application of the learning).
Feeding my mind through reading is one of the ways that I do this in my own leadership practice.
A little behind-the-scenes today of a few things I'm currently working on (📷️ hence the book stack):
> Building a coaching practice
> Becoming a great story-teller
> Deepening my knowledge of the intersection of faith and leadership
> Growing in my relationship with God
And also throwing in some world history just for fun.
What are you digging into right now?
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness". - Lamentations 3:22-23
