I did a wee speech at the UN on stories I've done about migrant women. Nothing like saying yes to something that scares you!😱💪🏾 @marziababakarkh I read your letter to the audience because I knew you could tell your story better than me. Thank you. #CSW63 @UN_CSW @UKUN_NewYork

This was one of the most difficult interviews I've ever done.
🗣️ 'I think I'll always be a narcissist to her because I don't fit this framework she's got in her head of what her mother should be' How does it feel to be labelled a narcissist by your daughter? A woman we are calling Bethany shares her story ⬇️ 🗒️

Thank you @MothersUncoverd. I'm just catching up on tweet (X 🤷🏾‍♀️) life. The opportunity to interview Bethany* and speak to someone accused of being a Narcissistic Mother was amazing.
Fantastic to hear this - well done @little_eeee - @mgordonwalker’s new found confidante about all things mother-related 😁. Becoming a mother often triggers unpleasant memories of our participants’ relationships with their mothers. Important for these stories to be shared

My seven part series on Narcissistic Mothers is now complete. It's been fascinating & challenging interviewing women willing to talk about the devastating impact it's had on their lives. #Narcissistmothers #mentalhealth
🗣 ‘There's a devastating impact' In the final part of our Narcissistic Mothers series, psychotherapist @LiberationHelen tells @bbcnuala about the impact of narcissistic behaviour and what people can do if they think their parent is a narcissist. Listen on @bbcsounds 🎧⬇️

Sophie never thought spending time with horses would be part of her recovery after enduring #domesticviolence for 8 years. She told me her story for @BBCWomansHour 📻 We talked about finding confidence, creating boundaries and her future - filled with hope.
'I'd hit rock bottom.' How might working with horses help a woman who has fled domestic abuse? Ena Miller @little_eeee reports from a Comic Relief project using equine assisted learning: bbc.in/361aaN5 #RedNoseDay

Wow.
This is the window of an urban researcher Lev Shevchenko in #Kyiv. He barricaded himself with books to keep the glass from flying into the room during the bombardment. #StopRussia

It’s all I can take with me. All my life is is this bag. We’ll manage. I’m sure. Keep you informed.

While I’m waiting in a longgggg queue to pay for the food. I know that my war tweets are being read by people all over the world. Could you please write from which country you’re? It would incredible to see the world while I’m here, in #Kyiv, in this war time.

On the 📻 today. I interviewed Jayne who has Lipedema. She hoped an operation would change her life. It did, but not in the way she ever imagined. She survived a flesh eating bug and tells me how she lives with the emotional and physical scars. 📻bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0012qf… #sepsis

10yrs ago on my first day of work experience @jonsnowC4 showed me around, explained how it all worked and even offered to share his lunch with me. 10yrs on working with him has been an honour. Absolute legend. Always the nicest guy in the newsroom. Cheerio Mr Snow🌻
As the series finale draws to a close ... we'll be paying tribute to our colleague, friend and broadcasting legend that is Jon Snow, as he presents Channel 4 News for the very last time - tonight at 7 on 4

Amazing way to help domestic abuse victims. 🌻

I am a super proud nana to 3 gorgeous mixed race grandkids. I'm asked all the time if I've adopted them! And yes, sadly, we've experienced racism from both black and white communities. But most people see what we do - love, an abundance of it.
'Is that really your baby?' When Ena Miller @little_eeee had a baby, she got negative comments about the colour of her daughter's skin - including a stranger shouting in the street. She wrote about her experiences and asked two other mothers for advice bbc.in/3fa0jWg

Thank you Maddy🌻❤
This happens to me all the time! 'Is he your son', 'are you his mum' etc. It makes me feel rubbish to be honest. Thank you @little_eeee for speaking to these amazing mums who have it much worse than me, I hope it helps people think twice before making thoughtless comments

My biggest worry if I had to us a quarantine hotel was getting terrible food. These women have had worse things to deal with - their own safety. @mcdermottsarah 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Our latest story is about a woman who was repeatedly harassed by a security guard at a Birmingham quarantine hotel -  she felt so unsafe that she absconded, risking arrest and a £10k fine. @prestofurioso @SueM1tchell bbc.co.uk/news/stories-58089…

Ena thank you for sharing. I so wish we lived in a society where everyone just saw your baby’s beautiful, perfect humanity - so I’m here to send love and light and say that Bonnie is gorgeous! And to promise I’ll always tell everyone I see with a baby how beautiful they are!

This was totally 💯 my experience also. I was even asked if I had adopted my daughters. When I replied that they were my kids the woman’s face was so confused. It happened so frequently I just got used to it. The questioning looks still occur. Dad🇬🇭 I’m🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
