Last week in Rome, I had the pleasure of sharing work on the book about Pope Leo XIV published in Italian by Morcelliana and translated into English by Liturgical Press @litpress: first on September 16 at the Italian Embassy to the Holy See, and then on September 18 during an audience with Pope Leo XIV, alongside the "Centro Studi Leone XIV," on whose scientific committee I serve.
Join Liturgical Press on October 1 at 11:00am CT as we hear from Massimo Faggioli, author of "Leo XIV and the Global Church" in conversation with leading ecclesiologist, Kristin Colberg.

Today we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. This marks the beginning of the Season of Creation â observed by Christians of various denominations â whose theme this year is âLiving Water.â As I recalled in the Message for this Day, caring for our common home calls for a conversion of heart, so that what has been used to bring about destruction may instead be directed toward life. I invite everyone to join in prayer and action, that we may become channels of the living water of Godâs peace, refreshing our wounded world.
