It's Tuesday morning and I feel like I already need one of these: tokyoweekender.com/2022/07/5…
One of the many reasons I've been quiet on Twitter is because I've been working on this baby:
Made in Japan, vol 2

You can read the pdf version online, or find a hard copy in Tokyo.
My personal fave pickup spot in Shinjuku is @Kino_BKT
We've got flying cars by @Skydrive_Global, an interview with @IrwinWong (and his amazing photos!), custom shoes from @RiperysSugar, and much, much more!
And how could I forget this impeccable piece by @lisaknightphoto about Nakagin Capsule Tower 🥰

In case anyone needs a midweek pick-me-up, I very nearly told this morning's delivery guy "Gochisousama desu" instead of "Gokurosama desu" 😩

For our readers in Tokyo: What are some positive or negative changes you've noticed since the pandemic started?
One of our editors mentioned many coffee shops stopped accepting reusable to-go cups, many sticking to paper or plastic cups for eat-in and take-out orders.
I interviewed amazing costume designer Araki Shiro for @Tokyo_Weekender a while back. His perspective on the world around him as well as the materials he chooses (ants!!?) never ceases to fascinate me.

My personal theme when I chose this song was "The Natsukashii" 😂
What song reminds you of the first time you visited or moved to Japan?

Nao-san thought it would be fun to shoot a short video in the tearoom for Halloween.
I didn't realise it would turn into a full horror movie...
...as dusk crept on, Nao-san relished her acting role a little too much😫😱
