Zcash may lead the market to rediscover the "value of privacy-preserving currency"; Bitcoin may lead the market to rediscover the "value of Proof-of-Work (PoW) security budgets"; and LTC happens to possess both optional privacy and a long-term miner incentive structure different from Bitcoin's. The real opportunity for LTC isn't the emergence of new technology, but rather that the market may finally be beginning to re-understand what it already possesses. I believe this is where LTC's most asymmetric aspect lies: the fundamental structure already exists, while the narrative price may have barely reflected it.
