Doctor's don't get paid based on the success of their patients, but they get paid for their expertise and experience, as a professional should. Teachers should also get paid for their expertise and experience, as a professional should.

My Teacher Wish List:
- Higher pay so we don’t have to work extra jobs.
- Smaller class sizes so we can build strong relationships.
- More funding for supplies so we don’t have to spend our own money or beg online.
- To be respected, valued and supported.

Don’t tell me that reducing class size won’t help student learning.
Tell me you don’t want to pay for it. Tell me you don’t have the space. Tell me you don’t have the teachers.
But don’t gaslight me. There’s a reason private schools cap class size. Every teacher knows it.
