A former scholarship winner through my nonprofit reached out and suggested that in the future we award scholarships directly to the students so the universities cant adjust the amount of aid they’re eligible for.

I think the issue with some Gen Z in the workplace is they feel entitled to every accommodation, job, accolade immediately. Yes - you do have to pay your dues. You have to earn things. I made like 18k my first job out of undergrad in 2003. I didn’t immediately make a bunch of money. I didn’t make enough to live on my own.
