I enjoy a good Twitter debate but as it doesn't generate revenue for my employer please don't be offended if I don't always have time to engage. Also before 8am and after 7pm I am usually wrangling kids.

🇮🇳 has played home Test series of three or more games since 1933.
91 years & 65 series later, they’ve been whitewashed for the very first time.
This is by far the greatest achievement in @BLACKCAPS history & one of most remarkable Test series performances by any side full stop.

Nice little overview on how we see the outlook evolving from @liamdann . Classic Kiwi economic recovery on its way ... and why it’s not good enough - Liam Dann nzherald.co.nz/business/liam…
As stressful as all this seam and swing is, it’s much better for us than a crumbling pitch that’s spinning. #blackcaps can do this!
In the back of mind wondering if it is still possible the pitch could fall to pieces and we could still lose this test all out chasing 89 on the last afternoon…but probably overly pessimistic at this point
Friendly reminder I have a book out with @PenguinBooks_NZ ...BBQ Economics!... economics made easy, NZ politics, history, culture, technology. Solid review below >>

⚡️🚨CrowdStrike Update Triggers BSOD Chaos
On July 19, 2024, a global issue with CrowdStrike Falcon agents caused widespread Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) boot loops on numerous endpoints.
Reports of affected devices and servers experiencing crashes and being unable to resume correctly were noted across various countries including New Zealand, Australia, Japan, India, and the United States.
The issue appears to be linked to a recent update from CrowdStrike, leading to significant outages and disruptions in both corporate and government environments.
The exact cause and potential solutions are still under investigation, with no official confirmation of the root cause or any malicious intent behind the incident.
CrowdStrike's Falcon security software update has caused a global issue, leading to a widespread Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) boot loop on Windows endpoints.
This has resulted in significant outages across various sectors, including supermarkets, banks, and broadcasters.
The problem appears to be related to the csagent.sys driver, affecting a large number of machines worldwide. CrowdStrike's engineering teams are actively working to resolve the issue, and the company has advised against opening support tickets for this problem.

I feel like that Republican Party convention leapt from the pages of a dystopian graphic novel I read in the 1980s. Completely unrealistic at the time.

I don’t live in the US and thus don’t vote there. I didn’t watch the debate but for the good of the country I continue to not understand why Biden hasn’t announced he is stepping down after this term and making it an open convention. I expect almost anyone else could beat Trump.
Well Trump’s supporters are going to be disappointed when they read all those fact checking articles

I think the idea that Joe would be on some kind of amphetamine has been thoroughly debunked.
