As a wheelchair user this is a huge insult this does nothing for the disabled community with representation. This Babs is essentially an able bodied woman with a magic chip in her spine. This back brace is a slap in the face to disabled people who DC have insulted for 10 years.

Like, half of these comic accounts that are wholly dedicated to a single character concern me as being slightly unhinged. In any case, read Tom’s Nightwing book. It’s one of the best Big 2 titles on the stands right now. I mean, insanely good.

Anyways, Nightwing fans, as excited as you may be to see him around again, I implore you not to purchase these issues, or any others that continue to harmfully show Babs as abled. Even if you don’t care for her as a character, you SHOULD care about the treatment of the disabled.
