It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month. It’s about oil and regime change. And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from Epstein + skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Let us dedicate this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day tomorrow to the children of Gaza who continue to be killed and maimed by the genocidal Zionist #ApartheidIsrael regime. Palestine 🇵🇸 shall be free from the River to the Sea! ✊🏾

Apartheid was a violent legal system that stripped Black South Africans of citizenship, land, movement, education, and skilled work. Today’s redress policies are not “anti-white laws.” Equating the two is historically illiterate, morally bankrupt, and deliberately dishonest.
JUST IN: 🇿🇦 Elon Musk says "South Africa now has more anti-White laws" than it had anti-Black laws under Apartheid.

These old photos remind me how many of us stood up in those days—not because we were brave, but because the times demanded it. If there is anything “progressive” about those pages of history, it’s because so many ordinary people chose courage over comfort. The struggle continues, and I’m grateful to walk it with the many people who are fighting for justice, peace, dignity, and sustainability.

South African “townships” didn’t appear naturally. Apartheid built them. Forced removals created entire communities designed for poverty and distance from economic opportunity. That spatial engineering is still very much effective.

This is the UP Medicine class of 2025. Despite the loud claims that white children are “discriminated” from studying in SA universities, more than half this class is white, while white South Africans make up only about 7% of the population.

Taxi drivers (SANTACO members) are saying that South Africans are not allowed to have more than one passenger in their cars. It doesn’t matter if it’s your kids, family, friends, or colleagues, if they catch you with more than one person in your car, they could damage it, crash it in public, or even burn it. They’re basically saying: your kids must use taxis to get to school, not your own car and your family should also use taxis for personal trips instead of your car.

Let’s be clear: The creeping annexation of the occupied West Bank is illegal. It must stop. The wholesale destruction of Gaza is intolerable. It must stop. Unilateral actions that would forever undermine the two-state solution are unacceptable. They must stop.

Let’s be clear: Statehood for the Palestinians is a right, not a reward. The only realistic, just, and sustainable solution is two States – Israel & Palestine – living side-by-side in peace. I urge the international community to take urgent & concrete steps to make it real.

I absolutely love South Africans. I was just standing in a queue, waiting to pay for my groceries when the guy in front of me turned around and asked if I have a loyalty card (the shop doesn’t matter, this is not a sponsored post), hoping to save a little cash. I’d left my phone in the car, so I was like, “Ah man, sorry, I don’t.” Before I could even blink, the woman behind me jumped in and offered hers. Not just to him but to me as well! She smiled and said something along the lines of, “If we all share, we all save.” Flip man. We were all different. Different backgrounds, different walks of life but none of that mattered. Because at our core, we are South African… and we show up for each other in the kindest, most beautiful ways. Just a simple, silly, Saturday story but it did make my heart smile. ❤️🇿🇦

The levels of disrespect in the Oval Office right now is on another level. Trump and VP Vance railing against Zelenskiy in front of the media. I have never seen this level of disrespect between world leaders on public display. Wow!

I don’t understand why South African media keep on referring to this as a “misinformation campaign.” It is not. It is a “disinformation campaign.” #Afriforum #Solidarity

Survivors of apartheid are not just part of history—they are still alive, just like those who benefited from it. Ignoring the need for proper redress is like covering a wound and hoping it won’t fester.

The BRIC countries have not said a word about Trump’s Executive Order on SA. This silence is a lesson on how countries prioritise their national interests. We can avoid the pending economic hardship by learning this lesson before it is too late. There is no virtue in suffering.

Our nation will rise, not because of any politician or party - but because the vast majority of SAfricans love their country too much to let it fail. 🇿🇦

We asked the UN Human Rights Office in Geneva to give us their reaction to U.S. President Donald Trump's Executive Order targeting South Africa. This was their response: "Redressing South Africa’s racially imbalanced land ownership is vital to addressing the historical injustices of the Apartheid era and fostering a more equitable future. The recently adopted law marks a critical step on this journey. We call on the authorities to ensure its implementation aligns with the protections enshrined in South Africa’s Constitution and complies with international human rights standards." #sabcnews
