Last year, the @AuditorGenScot said that addressing the challenges can't be avoided or postponed.
But reform has not yet been implemented.
This causes uncertainty and makes it more difficult for colleges to plan effectively.

Like I said , anonymous 🤡, if you want ruled by England move there , Labour spent years fighting against equal pay for woman and racked up thousands of debt . They’ll stop free prescriptions, baby boxes free uni and more , but knock yourself out

Not again! I have NOT given my permission to be used in political adverts. This is NOT an endorsement by me in any way. I maintain strict party neutrality and am unhappy at the weaponizing of my reputation in this way.
While this isn't as bad as the first terrible representation – which said it this about tax - there's still a misdirection. As I’ve already stated, in that private conversation I was referring to Labour hoping to make a positive change I’ve been campaigning for, but it didn’t want to lock it in the manifesto as it can’t promise to deliver.
NO party’s manifesto tells the full story. ALL parties have things they hope to do but that aren’t in manifestos – as they can’t guarantee to deliver. The idea that Labour is an outlier for that is preposterous.
Labour's manifesto doesn't tell you the full story.
14 hours to stop the Labour supermajority.

Martin Lewis did not give consent for his content to be used in this political campaign. Martin explains that he remains politically neutral and he does not endorse the Conservative Party in any way.

Ask yourself this ‘Who is best placed to make decisions about Scotland?’ The SNP or a Labour Party based 400 miles away in London?

EXC: Anas Sarwar has walked back on a Labour pledge to devolve levelling up funds if they win the General Election
He said a Labour-run Westminster government would not give Scotland complete control over levelling up funding, but would look to take a 'partnership approach'

Wee prediction @StephenFlynnSNP will one day be the First Minister/Prime Minister, whatever, the leader of an independent Scotland: xitter.cf/PoliticsJOE_UK/status/… That is an absolute given.

This is the point I made to Anas Sarwar in last night’s debate. Labour are committed to more austerity. @theSNP is opposed to austerity and want investment in our NHS and schools.

Both main parties are "avoiding the reality that they are effectively signed up to sharp spending cuts, while arguing over smaller changes to taxes and spending."

![Quote from IFS Senior Research Economist: "Both parties [are] avoiding the reality that they are effectively signed up to sharp spending cuts, while arguing over smaller changes to taxes and spending. The one exception is Labour’s plan to borrow £23.7 billion over five years to spend on green investment, which will make a promise to get debt falling harder to keep. On the basis of the March Budget forecasts, it looks as though it might still be just about consistent with the fiscal rule – at least on paper. It remains to be seen whether that will still be the case come the autumn."](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GPPbprEW8AADnOQ.jpg?name=small&format=webp)
