you know people, there was a time...🥲
"Tell Charles to come close to me, and we celebrate this one together" <3

‘sebastian vettel was right’
yeah he was right. holding hands with charles would be the right thing to do i agree
give us this lineup ferrari
rumours on ollie’s contract from friday afternoon in mexico:
“motorsport.com understands that the delay in agreeing terms has rather more complicated roots. according to ferrari insiders, bearman’s management have been pushing for assurances that he has a pathway to a race seat with the scuderia in 2028, on the assumption that lewis hamilton will retire.”

What's happening at Ferrari with Hamilton is absolutely no surprise.
We've seen this before at McLaren with Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button, and again at Mercedes with Nico Rosberg and later George Russell. Things even got to the point where Toto Wolff involved the police over allegations of sabotage.
At some point, you have to wonder who the common denominator is when there have been so many issues involving teammates.
Perhaps there’s a reason Valtteri Bottas was considered his "best teammate." He wasn't a serious threat and followed team orders: "Valtteri, it’s James."
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race.
It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.
At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. »

one thing i like about charles is how he's matured from taking the blame for everything to now being able to acknowledge what happened, still being able to take the blame when it's the case, but also being able to not just put it as his fault 🙏
he's really matured on this from past years

If you’re Ferrari you now have to pick between a guy who will go for anyone and everyone in the media, or Oliver bearman. Tough choice

he’s trying to take credit from the silverstone win AGAIN mf you were 20 seconds behind him there was NO WAY you could try ANYTHING on him 🙏
also you’re talking abt a 1-2 when YOU were the one asking for ur teammate to get a ten sec pen

it’s killing him that Charles stays composed in the media and delivers on track
it’s killing him that he’s adapting to his “DNA car” under regs that don’t suit him AND new brakes in less than 2 races
he talks shit on the radio and in the media because that’s what gets attention

"seb was right about charles"
2018: "if there’s no hype around him, then i don’t understand who should be hyped because you walk through all the categories like that, then you belong here"
2020 (seb leaving): "you are the most talented driver i came across in 15 years in f1"
2020: "i will miss charles. obviously he gave me a headache here and there, and we are at very different stages of our lives and careers. but he's certainly a good kid and i think he will go a long way, he will be the man of the future. i hope he gets the car he deserves."
2022: "i watched him and we got along really well, i think. i really enjoyed the time we spent together. he taught me some things, not necessarily about driving, but it was a little bit as if i was looking at my younger self, and it did take a little bit of time to understand that."
2022 (i think): "he beat me fairly. he was very fast. i think he will go a long way if he has the right equipment. we saw it immediately back”
thank you :)

at the end of the day my driver stayed true to himself. didn’t throw his teammate under the bus, didn’t have a meltdown on the radio or in the press pen. did his job, ruffled some insecure egos, explained his position and willingness to oversee the incident and dipped

I actually can not WAIT for the day Lewis Hamilton retires.
This sport will be 10x better without him.
When he and his fans are gone, we will have our sport back.
And send Netflix packing with him please

None of Charles’s previous teammates have made comments like this against him btw. Marcus and Seb liked and praised him, Carlos clearly likes him, Antonio (during F2) was invited to his wedding. He is not the one who has lost friendships over teammate spats.
