Chatting with @PhilipGlanville about how to #respacehackney using our community guardianship model as an alternative use for #emptybuildings ♻️🙌💚 #rethink #reuse #reduce #improve #greenlondon

Big up all the Mutual Aid crews, not just Hackney or London or @streetskitchen and @ldn_zero. Shop local, for inspiration. Dare to care.
🖤💜🧡💛💚💙
Why is #GillettSquare important to you? Head down to the square between now and Saturday, anytime between 1-6pm, to add your designs to the plan for the red wall mural 🥰 #community #artwork #streetart #expressyourself #Dalston #Hackney

If the music industry is so supportive of black lives stop pushing the same old ganster rap s**t and strike the balance, push positivity and solutions with the same energy. Great it’s showing up but it will be back selling the same old s**t tomorrow. Guaranteed!

#GeorgeFloyd wasn’t murdered “because he was Black”. Stop saying that. We are allowed to be Black. He was murdered because of white supremacy. Call it what it is. #BlackLivesMatter #icantbreathe

In Hackney, an atheist at @ldn_zero Mutual Aid rings a Jewish volunteer group in Hendon who supply 200 meals to a Muslim welfare organisation, who feed locals & walk-in homeless in N4. Ppl quietly getting on with it at street level, day in day out.
The wonderful @MindwalkYoga is offering free anxiety support to cope with the trauma and stress of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Online mind-body-breath practices are open to all ages and abilities!

Really enjoyed buying a precious stone from South Africa's first black-owned mine at @ldn_zero Winter Fair in Dalston. Nearby social enterprise superstar trying to source first ethical diamonds too. Do things better in #FashRev2020 week? #FashionRevolution2020 #socent
Team dynamics: the need is evolving, so is the response.
Coordinating w/ @Food4AllHQ to distribute food to orgs/indivs in need, in Hackney.
Thanks to having an otherwise empty building, we can!
Thanks @hackneycoops. #Peoplepower #ReSpacing

Also a mention for @streetskitchen too. They often looking for help, from food providers to outreach (limited now, for obvious reasons) to admin/coordination etc. As are @ldn_zero in Dalston. Also foodbanks running low, says Mayor of London. Thanks all the kitchens donating!
ReSpace redistribution. Here's a donation of water, going out to those in need from our Gillett Square @ReSpaceProjects hub and its Mutual Aid group. #Hackney #Peoplepower

Big love to Hive family & friends - who reused, recycled, laughed, cried, worked, danced and created together. We made a beautiful vibe & legendary space. This award is for all of you - and those who are no longer with us. RIP Brian & Felicia 💚♻️💚 #HiveDalston #HiveLife
ReSpacing in action: ZeroLDN Mutual Aid and @streetskitchen making use of the Gillett Square hub in Dalston to (carefully) distribute food to homeless & anyone struggling. How many more community initiatives could be operating on any given day in London?
Don’t forget to clap this evening at 8pm for the heroes in the NHS! Let’s appreciate everyone who is taking a personal risk to keep the country going - THANK YOU! 💚🙏♻️

“As small businesses go into crisis, we need to be pushing for worker ownership. Rather than being shut down, every workplace should have the option for workers to turn it into #cooperative before it goes into bankruptcy.” — @NaomiAKlein 👏👏👏
How to Beat #CoronavirusCapitalism
More good stuff coming out of our hub. When you create a space for people, they do some fantastic things, eg building bridges in communities like Hackney. That's #peoplepower! That's #ReSpacing 😍😍😍

If you like this in Camden, pop down to @ldn_zero in Dalston to see how this innovative community hub (by @ReSpaceProjects) takes existing resources, then adds local micro engagement to address global structural issues of inequality. #HackneyIsSocial #socent

At Think & Do, we believe that communities who have been and will continue to be disproportionately affected should be at the centre of projects and campaigns. As a community ran project, our space is priortised for any climate justice workshops or events.
