Never read so many misinformed people in my life as those talking about #AlbertaReferendum. People is some non-binding questions to give an idea of where Albertans stand for Smith to make decisions on. There is no vote to seperate. Stupid people.

Three parties in the BC Provincial Election. BC NDP = far left / socialist BC Conservative = centre left / BC Liberals / BC United Onebc = Conservative / Right wing. And NO, a OneBC is not splitting the vote unless you actually want a Liberal Provincial Government Vote wisely

Love it. Leadership
Over the past few months, endless Albertans have told us the same story. They saved for years to buy a single family home on a quiet street. They picked that neighbourhood on purpose, because of the park at the end of the block or the school two streets over or the neighbours who watch out for each other. Then one morning the house next door came down, with no notice, and later a 16 unit complex went up in its place, with nowhere for anyone to park and no consideration for the neighbourhood. Those are not complaints. They are people describing the place they built a life in with their family. So today we are acting. Edmonton will return to the density and height rules that were in place before 2024 and common sense minimum parking requirements, utility and water infrastructure considerations are coming back. Calgary will hold the line it set when it repealed blanket rezoning. Both cities will take a hard look at their bylaws and come back with something more balanced. Alberta needs more homes. We are building more of them than almost anywhere in Canada. But a home is more than a house, and a neighbourhood is more than a supply of lots.

The Mayor of Mississauga refused to answer questions on AI mass surveillance. Said “today is a happy day.” Mississauga quietly rolled out a network of license plate reading cameras across the city. What they tell you: the cameras are only for catching criminals. What they won't confirm: that your data stays in Canada, isn't shared, isn't kept forever, and isn't used for anything else. Basic questions. She gave zero answers. These same “Flock systems” are now in front of US Senate hearings over mass surveillance. Ours arrived with no debate at all.

Conservatives have won another debate for Canada: stopping medical assistance in dying for mental illness. Canadians suffering with depression or other challenges deserve hope, help, and a long happy life. Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP's bill forced the Liberals to backtrack. Her courageous work will continue to save countless lives.

The BC Conservative party will be 100% to blame if the NDP win. They completely hijacked the party with liberals Destroyed the conservative movement Instead of uniting, the right they decided to sabotage the entire thing Brutal move going against the best interest of BC.
As you know, OneBC has decided to optimize the conservative movement. In a gesture of good will we were willing to avoid running candidates against real conservatives in tight ridings. In response, not only was there no cooperation, but also the same corruption and backroom dealing that has derailed the province. This is not acceptable behaviour, and as a result, we will be running two amazing candidates in North Island and in Kelowna Centre. Despite everything that has happened and will happen, OneBC remains committed to defeating the NDP and the radical left.

Comments off. Three of the most expensive cities on the continent, meeting to discuss affordability. I can only imagine what conclusions they are going to reach: “the crux of the affordability issue lies at the nexus of colonialism, white supremacy, corporate capitalist greed, all overseen by the Jew… I mean Israel!”
Today I am in New York at the Urban 20 Mayor’s Summit, co-hosted by @NYCMayor and @MayorOfLA, discussing common issues facing the world’s largest municipalities. Here are my remarks from this morning’s session where I accepted an award and grant on behalf of the City of Toronto for our Play Mobile program.

Italian PM Meloni: The proposed measure will introduce an obligation for the parents of foreign students with serious school-integration problems to learn Italian, and it will introduce a ban on the burqa and niqab at school. In Italy, nobody, in the name of a real or supposed tradition, can decide that a young woman must hide herself. Equality between men and women is not negotiable. It is not negotiable on our streets and it is not negotiable in our schools.
