I’ve done my submission to KCC’s consultation about the future of our Folkestone Grace Hill library. I answered Strongly Disagree to questions 6 and 7. Let’s keep our library at Grace Hill where it belongs.
You can Save Our Library by doing the same. letstalk.kent.gov.uk/folkest…
Library consultation session by KCC at 5 Grace Hill, Folkestone, today until 1pm. Have your say about the future of our Folkestone central library which has now been closed for over a year and a half. Scandalous.

People in Folkestone and Hythe have felt alarmed and threatened by the wave of violence and disorder across the UK over recent days, driven by far-right fascists and others.
As I said to Folkestone's Nepalese Community this afternoon, I am proud of Folkestone and Hythe’s diversity and our history of welcoming those from other cultures. I will continue to do everything I can to make the area even more inclusive and tolerant for everyone who lives and works here.

Loved watching #cantshakefest production of As You Like It on the @3hillssportsprk cricket pitch this afternoon. You were brilliant! So much going on in Folkestone this weekend!
The last few days have been such a whirl! Absolutely delighted that Tony has been elected as our first ever Labour MP 🎉and that we’ve won the opportunity to show that politics can make a difference. Congratulations! @anthonymv1
We did it! A huge thanks to my team, and to everyone who put their trust in me. Thanks also to all my opponents, and to the staff team at @fstonehythedc who made the election day and the count go so smoothly.
You voted for change and it starts right here.

Don't risk another five years of Damian Collins and Tory chaos. In Folkestone and Hythe constituency vote Labour on Thursday!
The Mirror has just published its tactical voting guide to oust the Tories - and we get a mention!
Here in Folkestone & Hythe their recommendation is to vote Labour.

It was lovely to meet up. I think we could have talked for ages about our experiences and how we all want to see change! It will happen in 2024 if we all vote for it together!
Yesterday I met with Pete Doherty, Labour candidate in Folkestone & Hythe in 1992 & 1997, and @laurafd, candidate in 2017 & 2019. Both of them are backing me. I want to publicly recognise their immense service to the Labour cause. My campaign is built on their strong foundations.

Today we have had teams out in Hythe, Cheriton & Enbrook Valley, as well as at the bandstand on the Leas. We are continuing to talk to as many people as we possibly can about the possibility of change. It's a two horse race here in Folkestone & Hythe. Vote Labour & make history.
Fantastic day; great turnout at the beach; followed by possibly the wettest canvassing session ever - but we didn’t let that put us off!
It's been an incredible day of campaigning. It was absolutely wonderful to welcome @Feargal_Sharkey and @serauk to Folkestone to protest sewage spills. That was followed up by canvassing with a team from @SocLabLaw. This is people-power in action! #WIN24
A pleasure to be out with Tony this morning. He’s working incredibly hard to win the Labour representation we so urgently need for our district.
Great to be out canvassing with the brilliant @laurafd.
Labour’s chances in Folkestone and Hythe are built directly on the huge vote increase for Labour she achieved in past general elections. We can do this!

Please join me and the brilliant @Feargal_Sharkey this Saturday 15 June on Sunny Sands beach in Folkestone. We've had enough of 💩 being dumped off our beaches. Let's demand action on clean seas.
In conjunction with the excellent @serauk, Labour's environment campaign group.
