According to the Palestinian Authority's official school textbooks for grades 6 through 9: • The Canaanites were Arabs • Palestine grew tomatoes and potatoes in the 600s • Muslims invented zero and reached America in the 800s • The Third Crusade was in 1291, sent by "Britain" • George Washington declared independence at the "Third Philadelphia Congress" • World War I was fought by the Axis • Israel burned al-Aqsa • A terrorist who killed 13 children on a bus killed "soldiers" • Ancient Israel did not exist This is what UNRWA and PA schools are teaching to children. Let's take a journey through the Palestinian Authority's fantasy world. 🧵

One page of a PA 8th-grade textbook, on “Islamic-Christian coexistence”: • Its “best example” of brotherhood: in 2002, “Palestinian resistance fighters” (armed terrorists from Fatah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad) holed up in the Church of the Nativity, with monks and nuns inside, for 39 days. • Jerusalem’s coexistence is “the presence of mosques and churches.” No synagogues, in a city where Jews have been the largest community since the 1860s. • The Samaritans, a remnant of the ancient Israelites with their own Torah, “are Palestinians.” • “The Arab states, especially Palestine, guarantee freedom of thought and the practice of religious rites.” Meanwhile, in these same books, every Jewish holy site is renamed or erased. The Temple Mount is only “al-Aqsa.” The Western Wall is “the Buraq Wall.” The Cave of the Patriarchs is “the Ibrahimi Mosque.” Lists of the land’s holy places name mosques and churches, never a synagogue. And Joseph’s Tomb, which rioters have burned three times, isn’t mentioned at all. In the PA’s books, a Palestinian is everyone in the land except the Jews.
