From all indications, they’re obviously doctoring those numbers. Macro and micro economics are not some concepts that exist in the ethereal; you see, feel and taste them.
You can tell me that Nigerias’ unemployment rate is in the single digits, because we all know at least 3 people who finished school and can’t find jobs or gainful employment. You can’t tell me that the GDP and per capita is great when we all know at least 2 families finding it hard to feed or transport, and so on. You can’t say we’re more secured than 2022, when we all know that’s an obvious lie. Economics and std of living is something you feel, even without seeing some spreadsheet.

A lot of the phrasing used to talk about abuse promotes rape culture.
The daughter is not pregnant for her father. The father raped and impregnated his daughter. Instead of the village to punish the rapist and protect the daughter, they are treating her like an equal participant
