Not chasing trends, only following vision Exploring @Aptos Contributor @DecibelTrade

Another busy earnings session ahead. $IBM, $META, and $TSLA are all scheduled to report Q3 2026 results after the US market closes on October 21. Earnings call schedule (ET): • $META 4:30 PM • $IBM 5:00 PM • $TSLA 5:30 PM Three companies, three different stories to watch. $IBM Software growth, enterprise AI demand, and infrastructure performance. $META Advertising revenue, AI monetization, operating margins, and capital expenditure guidance. $TSLA Automotive margins, energy storage growth, and progress on autonomous driving and robotics. The headline numbers matter, but guidance and market expectations can have an even bigger influence on price action. A strong earnings beat doesn't always lead to a rally, just as disappointing results don't necessarily mean a sustained sell-off. Meanwhile, @DecibelTrade is offering 1.5x AMPs on $IBM, $META, and $TSLA perps through Thursday, October 22. With 24/7 trading, there's no need to wait for the US stock market to reopen to follow the reaction. I'll be paying more attention to how prices behave after the initial volatility than trying to catch the very first move. The reports set the stage. The market decides what happens next. Always DYOR. NFA trade smart and manage your risk.
Three more on the board. 1.5x AMPs on $IBM, $META and $TSLA perps through Thursday. Earnings week on a venue that doesn't close.

@minnus from @blockworksres just published a deep dive about $APT tokenomics on @Aptos. Here's a summary: TLDR: Aptos now burns more in gas fees than it pays its operators. Blockworks' THNI (Token Holder Net Income) metric turned positive in May and has held since. ➣ Four changes were approved through onchain governance in under a month: gas fees went up 10x, staking rewards were halved to 2.6%, supply was capped at 2.1B APT, and 210M APT was locked permanently. ➣ Net supply growth fell ~70%, from ~5% to ~1.5% a year. ➣ Every gas fee has been burned since genesis. Burns used to cover 0.2% of issuance. Now it's ~10%. ➣ Fees went up 10x and activity doubled anyway, from ~4.5M to ~9M transactions a day. The median transaction still costs ~$0.0003. ➣ @DecibelTrade's fully onchain order book is the biggest source of demand. It makes up 98% of Aptos trading transactions and has done $7.5B in volume in seven months. ➣ Investor and team vesting ends this October. Yearly unlocks drop from ~135M to ~21M APT. ➣ Security held up. Staked APT is down only ~10%, and ~64% of supply is still staked. ➣ Burns would match issuance at roughly 10x today's Decibel-style activity, about 1,050 TPS. Mainnet has already hit 13,400 TPS. ➣ Of the four L1s Blockworks compared, Aptos is the only one consistently positive on THNI. Ethereum and Sui are negative, and Solana is just above zero. Where $APT tokenomics stand after the updates first proposed in February. Approved through onchain governance: • Gas fees set 10x higher • Staking rewards halved from 5.19% to 2.6% • Supply hard-capped at 2.1B APT Per @blockworksres, burns now cover ~10% of issuance, up from 0.2% under the previous gas rate, and daily transactions doubled after the change.

Encrypted Mempool is now supported on @DecibelTrade, built on @Aptos and incubated by Aptos Labs. When a trader opts in, the order's payload is encrypted client-side, ordered while encrypted, and decrypted by validators together only after the block is finalized. Sender and gas fee stay visible. Opt-in, one transaction at a time, and designed to lower MEV risk on the orders traders choose to encrypt.

Front-Running Protection: ON. Your order shouldn't become someone else's signal. Order details stay encrypted while pending. Once confirmed, the resulting trade remains verifiable onchain. Encrypted before. Verifiable after. Now live on Decibel.

Two major earnings reports on October 20: $NFLX and $SPCX Both companies are set to release their Q3 2026 results after the US market closes. Schedule (ET): • 4:01 PM Netflix earnings release • After market close SpaceX earnings release • 4:30 PM SpaceX earnings webcast • 4:45 PM Netflix management interview For $NFLX, key areas to watch include revenue growth, advertising performance, operating margins, and forward guidance. For $SPCX, attention will be on Starlink's growth, capital expenditure, cash flow, and the company's expansion plans. Earnings can trigger sharp volatility, but the initial price reaction doesn't always tell the full story. I'll be watching the actual results, management commentary, and how prices respond before considering any positions. Meanwhile, @DecibelTrade is offering 1.5x AMPs on $NFLX and $SPCX perps trades through Wednesday. The reports provide the catalyst. The market reaction provides the opportunity. Trade the reaction, not the prediction. Always DYOR. This is not financial advice.

I've been liquidated enough times to know that no matter how experienced you are, watching a position disappear never feels good. Sometimes the market moves against you faster than expected. Sometimes it's simply a bad entry or poor risk management. Either way, the loss is real. That's one thing I appreciate about the Liquidation Rebate program on @DecibelTrade. Eligible traders can recover 50% of their liquidated margin, capped at $500 per account per cycle, after meeting the program requirements. There are two rebate cycles each month: • 1st–15th • 16th–last day of the month Of course, getting some margin back doesn't turn a losing trade into a winning one. But it does make the aftermath a little less painful. I'd still rather have a profitable trade than a rebate. But trading comes with both wins and losses, and having a way to recover part of a loss is something I genuinely appreciate. The rebate helps with the loss. The lesson stays with me.

Nine rounds, $10K in each prize pool, and 20% of eligible trading fees back. The Tria Grand Prix has officially kicked off. The competition runs from October 16 to January 16, with eligible Perps trades on @DecibelTrade through @useTria counting toward the leaderboard. Here's what makes it interesting: Each of the 9 rounds has a $10,000 prize pool, while qualifying Decibel trading fees receive a 20% rebate calculated monthly. And there's a bigger prize at the finish line. The top two qualifying traders can earn Ferrari Paddock Club tickets for the Japanese Grand Prix in April 2027. That comes with a minimum $5M in cumulative eligible trading volume, though. I like the racing concept, especially the idea of getting some trading fees back along the way. Full rules and rewards: blogs.tria.so/en/tria-grand-… Perps carry liquidation risk. Not financial advice.

Trading fees are something I always pay attention to, especially when taking multiple positions throughout the day. Decibel uses a tier system based on trading volume over roughly 30 days. Perp fees start at 0.045% for takers and 0.015% for makers, with lower rates as your volume increases. What I find interesting is that Spot and Perps share the same fee tier, and Spot volume counts 4x toward it. At $100M in weighted volume, maker fees drop to 0%, while taker fees continue decreasing at higher tiers. Of course, lower fees don't mean much if you're forcing trades just to reach the next tier. I'd rather stick to my setups and let the volume build naturally. Worth understanding how the fee structure works if you're regularly trading on @DecibelTrade. Encrypted Mempool, in 40 seconds. When a user opts in, the transaction's details (the function called and its inputs) are encrypted on their device. Validators order the block without being able to read them, and the details are decrypted only after the block is finalized. That sequence is what lowers the risk of MEV attacks.
