Now live on Decibel.
Earnings week is here, and three stocks I’ll be keeping an eye on are $IBM, $META and $TSLA.
Each of them has a different story going into earnings. IBM has its enterprise AI and hybrid cloud business, Meta continues to invest heavily in AI while growing its advertising business, and Tesla remains an interesting one to watch because of its margins and longer-term AI ambitions.
@DecibelTrade just added another reason to pay attention to these three names. Perps on $IBM, $META and $TSLA are getting a 1.5x AMP boost through October 22.
I like the timing, especially during a week when earnings expectations and market reactions can shift quickly. And since @DecibelTrade is open 24/7, traders can access these markets beyond regular stock market hours.
I’ll be watching how these stories develop and how the market reacts. The AMP boost is a nice bonus, but having a clear view of the trade still matters most.
Which one are you watching this week? 👀
SpaceX Earnings Preview: What I’m Watching This Quarter
SpaceX earnings are coming up, and I’m curious to see whether the numbers can live up to expectations.
Here’s what analysts are forecasting for Q3:
• Revenue: ~$12.9B, vs. $7.8B in Q2
• Adjusted EPS: ~$0.14–$0.15
• Adjusted EBITDA: ~$6.6B, vs. $3.54B in Q2
• AI revenue: ~$6.3B–$6.4B
• Starlink revenue: ~$4.9B
• Capex: ~$19B–$19.6B
All figures above are estimates, not reported results.
Personally, I’ll be watching two things: whether AI can become a real profit driver, and how much these massive investments will weigh on cash flow.
Looking ahead, analysts expect further Starlink growth and improving profitability into 2027. The potential is huge, but I think execution will matter more than the headline numbers.
Meanwhile, $SPCX is available on @DecibelTrade with a 1.5x AMPs Boost

Netflix and SpaceX in the same earnings week… quite a mix
One is competing for our screen time, the other is working on rockets and satellite internet. Completely different businesses, but both are worth keeping an eye on when earnings drop.
I’m curious to see how the market reacts, especially if the numbers or outlook catch traders off guard.
Also, if you’re planning to trade either one, @DecibelTrade is giving 1.5x AMPs on $NFLX and $SPACEX perps through Oct 21.
Might as well get a little AMP boost while trading the earnings move.
Let’s see how these two play out.

$NFLX – Netflix!!!!
I’m pretty bullish on Netflix heading into earnings, and it’s not just because it’s a big name in streaming.
What I like is how Netflix can keep growing through multiple revenue streams. It already has a massive global subscriber base, and I think there’s still room to generate more revenue through pricing and advertising.
The ad business is especially interesting to me. Netflix is targeting around $3B in advertising revenue for 2026, roughly double the prior year. If it can execute on that, advertising could become a much more meaningful part of the business.
Looking at the upcoming Q3 report, Netflix guided for $12.86B in revenue and a 33.2% operating margin. That gives me a couple of things to watch: whether revenue growth stays strong and whether the company can maintain healthy profitability while continuing to invest in content.
Of course, the numbers still need to deliver. Competition is getting tougher, and subscriber engagement is something I’ll be watching closely too. But I like the combination of a strong audience, pricing power, and a growing advertising business.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the numbers turn out. For me, NFLX is definitely one to watch this earnings season.
And if you’re looking to trade NFLX, you can find it on @DecibelTrade too. Feel free to check it out!

Been trading perps on Decibel, so the Tria Grand Prix caught my attention
Round 1 is live, with $10K in prizes up for grabs. And if you're trading on Decibel through Tria, you can get 20% of eligible trading fees back.
Honestly, I like that there's more than one thing to aim for here. You can trade the pairs you're comfortable with, compete for the round rewards, and keep building your volume toward the bigger championship.
The full Grand Prix runs until January 16, 2027, with two Ferrari F1 Paddock Club experiences waiting for the top qualifying traders. That's a pretty wild incentive for a trading competition.
My plan? Stick to the pairs I know, keep an eye on the leaderboard, and let the trades do the talking. No need to force anything just for a competition.
If you're already trading perps, this one's worth checking out.

AI market update: the focus is shifting from spending to returns
AI stocks have been under pressure lately, and I think the bigger question now is whether all this investment can actually translate into profits.
A few things worth keeping an eye on
- Fed Chair Kevin Warsh said AI investment is helping support economic demand, but the spending boom is also adding to inflation pressure. He didn’t give a clear signal on the Fed’s next rate decision.
- The recent sell-off in AI-related stocks shows that investors are getting more cautious about rising borrowing costs and how quickly companies can make returns on their data center investments.
- Earnings will be a big test next week. $META and $TSLA are among the names to watch, while results from semiconductor equipment companies could offer more clues about demand across the AI supply chain.
For $META, I’ll be watching how its AI investments translate into growth and whether investors get more clarity on spending. With $TSLA, the focus will also be on its broader AI ambitions and how they fit into its business outlook.
I’m also keeping $AMD, $DELL and $AAPL on my watchlist as the tech market works through this uncertainty.
The AI trend is still worth watching, but I don’t think spending announcements alone will be enough to keep the rally going. At this stage, actual earnings and a clearer path to returns matter just as much.

Apple just crossed the $5T market cap mark for the first time.
$AAPL gained 0.5% on October 14, closing at $342.96 while the broader tech market struggled. The Nasdaq fell 1.88%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped 4.3%.
What I find interesting is how differently the market is treating tech stocks right now.
Concerns around inflation, interest rates and the huge amount of money being poured into AI infrastructure are putting pressure on the sector. Apple managed to move higher even as semiconductor stocks took a hit.
Personally, I'm still bullish on $AAPL. Its ecosystem, strong customer loyalty and iPhone business give it a solid foundation, and I think there's still room for the stock to move higher if earnings growth and its AI strategy start to deliver.
My next area of interest is the $350–375 range. It won't be a straight move up, especially with the current pressure on tech, but that's the zone I'm watching.
Crossing $5T is a huge milestone. Now I want to see whether Apple can turn that momentum into further upside.
