Why is OCaml on Windows important? Most of the visitors to OCaml.org are on Windows. It is important that they get an experience that is not much worse than other OSes. See plausible.ci.dev/ocaml.org.

Released Melange 1.0 three months ago. Followed up with Melange 2.0 this week. Lots of work went into both releases. Happy with the pace at which we're shipping. What's stopping you from trying out Melange?

Some nice parallel GC tuning will land in OCaml 5.1: github.com/ocaml/ocaml/pull/… In OCaml 5.0, our focus was to ensure that sequential programs had similar performance on 5.0 (parallelism aware runtime) when compared to OCaml 4.x (sequential runtime).

realizing most of my 2023 is going to be spent thinking about OCaml and convincing people that it has been the future for like 20 years ...and that's really exciting for me
