The progression of job-destroying AI makes me SICK.
I refuse to participate in it.
Instead I'm going to take the virtuous path: continue destroying jobs as always, just a bit less efficiently, using non-AI technology.
You're welcome.

At Meta we strongly opposed using DNS for RPC service discovery/load balancing. I realised recently that was not universally agreed upon wisdom. The world evolved to rely heavily on DNS (*cough* k8s *cough*) and I think it’s a really bad idea. If you trust DNS for this job, you either have worked on small deployments, or you haven’t been bitten just yet. 🤷♂️
