My heartfelt condolences to family and friends of Shri Trinath Mishra ,former DGP Manipur ,former Director SPG ,former Director SVP NPA,former Director CBI,former DG,CISF and former DG ,CRPF who left for his heavenly abode today morning . I worked under him during his CBI tenure. He was warm ,affectionate and a caring mentor. Both of us were alumni of same school - Netarhat Residential School. He was from the first batch of School ( I joined 18 years later) We grew up listening to stories of his achievements as SSP of major UP districts( Varanasi,Meerut etc) ,and in charge of Kumbh Mela (at then Allahabad). I had invited him to CBI Academy for valediction of a course ,when he was DG CRPF and he had readily agreed. He was an exceptional speaker in both Hindi and English .Very well read . He wrote a number of books on Police Professional and other subjects .One book in Hindi on Rumi ,one in English-Hindu Book of Dead ,another -First Charge- Handbook for Police Officers ,- just a representative sample. You will be missed ,sir. And will always be remembered with respect .
