In order to be hacked someone would have had to steal or wrench multiple signatures. I dont buy it.
Orchestrated. All assets will be rebought to make a V.
Buy it all people do not be afraid. Buy and put in self custody with keys off line. Dont sleep on this oppertunity.
I didn’t think 400–500k was in the cards for Bitcoin this cycle but man, when I see shit like this from Jason, I’m starting to srsly wonder if that’s actually what’s gonna happen
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.
Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.
Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.
We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.
Why?
Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.
Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?
What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!
The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!
Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!
No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.
No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!
Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.
This should be obvious to everyone right now.
Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

Buying and deactivating all the certs.
A twist in the story I never truly considered until recently.

cringe posting on x since 3 thousand united states dollars
@Jason has been publicly bear posting crypto since it was less than 18 billion total market cap, almost 3 Trillion now btw.
amazing foresight from this mouth breather

as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)
👏 nice take
It’s a bit brutal but BTC is probably going to be the big winner of the AI revolution. I don’t think it will suffer any hacks, the scripting language formal verification is very advanced and work in formalizing the protocol too. Nodes running on different hardware make it very robust against hardware vulnerabilities, and their sources are probably one of the most audited code in the world. Combine that with self sovereignty which protects against political backslash from K shaped economy and acceleration of margins flowing to capital, I don’t see much else. To be honest this is my macro view but it’s a pretty grim one.

There's no real additional risk from this. Don't trust random files but you shouldn't anyway.
if you've ever lost money in a bull market it's highly likely because you have constantly chopped and changed your positions rather than having a significant amount of your portfolio in conviction trades (spot) and letting them run
altho the latter is actually incredibly easy on paper, psychologically, it's a lot harder coz in a bull mkt u see stuff going up 100x every other day and unless it's ur position u feel fomo and the urge to top blast etc etc
the answer is to just make sure you have split your capital into i) the big spot bag u don't touch ii) the degen bag which lets you enjoy your vices
u then want to rotate your profits from the degen bag into the spot bag thus capturing and compounding your gains through the cycle until you find the right time to sell
all sounds easy on paper but people (including myself) fk it up all the time

So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.

BREAKING: JPMorgan Asset Management projects Bitcoin to beat US stocks, bonds and gold with 10% annualized returns over the next 10 to 15 years.
This also marks $BTC's FIRST appearance in JPMorgan's annual long term return forecasts.
🚨🚨 HOLY FCK. FCK. FCK. IT’S ABOUT TO HAPPEN.
JUST AS THE BoJ INSIDER YUTO WARNED IT WOULD.
HOLY. FCKING. SHIT.
Remember the warning?
Think about it.
TRILLIONS in debt. An overstretched financial system. Governments desperately needing an explanation for what comes next.
And suddenly, AI becomes the perfect villain.
BLAME THE MACHINES. NOT THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT THE SYSTEM.
What if the greatest technological revolution in human history also becomes the perfect cover story for the greatest financial reset?
FCK. FCK. FCK.
YUTO’S WARNING WAS NEVER JUST ABOUT THE CRISIS.
IT WAS ABOUT WHO WOULD GET BLAMED WHEN THE HOUSE OF CARDS FINALLY COLLAPSED. 💀
