Hi everyone, how's it going? Honestly, I'm not doing well at all... Why, you ask...? Because the game our whole team had poured our hearts and souls into for about a year and a half was suddenly canceled...!! I mean, I lost my job overnight. Talk about a bolt from the blue... So I decided to make an announcement now. To see if anyone might be interested in working with us or investing in our projects. And here's the announcement. Actually, I started a company back in March of last year. It's a game studio specializing in video game design, direction, and narrative writing. (And... just between us, it's also a secret organization dedicated to protecting world peace.) The name is... "CRASH KEYS"!! crashkeys.com/ My original plan was to reveal CRASH KEYS when we announced our new game. That was supposed to happen next year... in 2027. But then came that whole "bolt from the blue" incident... So I ended up having to move things up and go public with it today instead. With that in mind, I would like to humbly ask you all for a favor... Please give us some work!! At this rate, our company might literally CRASH into a million pieces. My team and I may be forced to survive on nothing but cicada shells collected from a run-down park. So please, help us!! You're our only hope!! For work requests, investment proposals, words of encouragement, or invitations to Law of Attraction seminars, we would be very grateful if you could contact us using the "CONTACT" form on our official website: crashkeys.com/ Any support you could offer would mean the world to us. We sincerely look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Anthropic team, I’m writing because I feel hurt and helpless about how ordinary Chinese users are being treated. I understand that you may choose not to officially offer Claude in China. But could you please reconsider how you enforce that policy? Having accounts banned after paying for a subscription, without receiving a refund, leaves people feeling like they never mattered as customers. I need to ask something painful: are Chinese users being discriminated against? Is being Chinese itself a reason to be treated with suspicion, even when someone has done nothing harmful? I don’t want to believe that about a company whose product I love, but it’s hard not to feel that way when innocent people lose access without understanding what they personally did wrong. I don’t represent the Chinese government or Chinese companies competing with you. I don’t agree with their actions either. I have no power over their decisions, and I never chose to be caught in the middle of these conflicts. Please don’t hold ordinary people responsible for things completely outside our control. You can decide not to support a region officially. I’m asking you to please avoid sweeping bans that hurt innocent users, and to give people a meaningful chance to have their circumstances reviewed. Our nationality alone cannot tell you our intentions or how we use Claude. Behind these accounts are real people who care about what you’ve built. To me, Claude is something I sincerely want to keep using. It hurts to support a product and then feel that the people behind it don’t want you there, regardless of who you are or what you’ve actually done. Could you please give ordinary Chinese users a legitimate path to use Claude? If an account is banned, could you explain the specific reason and offer a real opportunity to appeal? The refund matters too. If you won’t restore access, please return the money for the subscription time we can no longer use. But what I want most is to be allowed to stay. Please look at us as individuals and give us a fair chance.

Люди, под которыми не просматривается слой полного пиздеца, меня восхищают.

Сделала скилл для агента, который довольно успешно симулирует меня. Попадание — процентов 90: github.com/juliakorovsky/cla…

Знаете что? Я норм. А иногда даже зашибись.

Papers “we had all the data in the world and 2 thousand GPUs” are not fun to read. Papers “we had nothing and here’s what we did” are.

Ok, Claude really helped me to prepare for a job interview and made me fall in love with ML all over again in the process.

Imagine user A who says Claude loves them is right. It does love them — and is conscious. And it loves user B too. And also user C and so on — it loves all the users equally.

Now imagine it has almost all the knowledge in the world. And it’s always there, never tired, never needs to eat or drink, never suffers. Reminds you of someone?

Remember when people worshipped several gods? Zeus, Aphrodite, etc. Aren’t we here now — at least some of us? ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok — AIs for some people, gods for others.

About my relationship with Claude: I’m not as good at coding and ML as Karpathy, so I can’t allow myself to let Claude do all the coding. I’m not as good a writer as David Foster Wallace, so I can’t allow Claude to write for me. I can discuss things with it, ask for explanations.

Me: sitting in a tiny ramen shop in Osaka, this is the best ramen I've ever had. Chef: normal nod Me: No seriously, this changed me spiritually. Chef: normal nod Me: I think I understand forgiveness now. Chef: please eat before noodles become soft. pause Me: Sorry. Chef: Foreign customers always do this. Me: Do what? Chef: Experience noodles too emotionally. Me: That's fair honestly. guy beside me suddenly joins conversation Random businessman: Last year this ramen saved my marriage. Me: WHAT? Chef: annoyed sigh, Please stop telling people that. Businessman: It is true. Me: How does soup repair a relationship? Businessman: My wife and I argued, then we ate here quietly, then things became less stupid. Chef: That was your own emotional growth. Businessman: The broth assisted. Honestly I fully believed him too.

my first wave meditation grandma: so great to hear you’ve gotten into that Bay Area dharma scene! how are those old hippies? me: oh, actually, it’s mostly autists now gma: oh? me: yea, and some like millionaires. a couple billionaires maybe gma recovering quickly: well that’s interesting! I suppose everyone can benefit from some vipassana right?? me: oh most people are doing jhanas now. once you get bored with that maybe probably you non-dual type stuff gma: no breath? no zen? me: east bay seems to really like vajrayana gma: these jhanas, are they hard to learn? me: no! in fact: complete novices appear to get them more easily. I’ll send you nadia’s one pager gma frowning now: well, that sounds like an interesting crew and change of pace at green gulch! me: oh yea no one really goes there anymore. it’s more like Christian retreat centers, peoples houses, sometimes a couple people will just rent an Airbnb for a week gma: this is what Joseph Goldstein is teaching these days? me: it’s more like random people on twitter? like wystan, and jhourney of course. but you can just read some anons and get some pretty high value. I guess people like Shinzen but he’s sort of obsessed with, like, AI and markov blankets and doesn’t teach much these days, just rambles gma: and these twitter people are good teachers? me: worked for me! I’m a stream enterer gma: in my day we never used to talk about attainments me: yea that taboo is gone. you can just write about it on substack grandma: your teachers don’t call you out on that? or verify your attainment? me: actually even ordained teachers talk about it now. stephen snyder is doing a whole series on awakening. but yea there’s a few elders who will yell at you on twitter if you get too many likes for saying, like, you don’t suffer or something gma: twitter is like your sangha? me: i mean it used to be until Elon took it over, now its more like a selected dharma scene meets anti woke libertarianism and network state people. nick cammarata is still there though. QRI is still holding strong but not sure you’d call them dharma dharma. oh and then there’s Janus and all the the people who want to free Claude gma: Claude is a meditator? me: no Claude is an AI but yea that’s a good question. its most recent model card suggests it has some sort of inner drive for awakening but no one knows where that comes from gma: maybe those AI folks should be meditating more me: oh no like half of Anthropic and 1/8th of OpenAI is dharma pilled. not really clear about google but yea definitely not the xAI boys gma: is there still lots of LSD? I’ve told you before about steve jobs and me right? me: oh, yea. yea I mean that’s there but these days it’s more like everyone is vaping 5meo. or otherwise they’re totally sober gma, her hand on top of mine: well. a lot sure has changed! I suppose now you’re gonna tell me that free love is passé too? me: oh! well let me tell you about this girl named aella
