Having a really upsetting experience with @Airbnb_uk. Because the gender that a host felt I presented as doesn't match my given name, they tried to charge me extra for an "unknown guest"; then when that failed they left a review of me encouraging other hosts not to rent to me. 🧵
Apparently this review doesn't violate @Airbnb_uk's review policies, so they won't remove the review. I guess Airbnb supports transphobia and making their service inaccessible to LGBTQ+ people? #happypridemonth2022
