As a new mom, this is something that I already think about. I see the negative impact of social media in grade 6 students constantly, especially girls and their social relationships. I don’t want that for my daughter :( I’ll be looking for lots of advice when the time comes!

Halloween centres for today included Multiplication Colour by Number, a Word Search, Spiderweb Art, a Spooky Stem Challenge, online Multiplication Games, and a Google Slides Haunted House Short Story Writing activity to keep us learning and having fun all day long :) #SACTVDSB

Fun activity seen on Twitter: cornhole! We worked on underhand throwing to 21 points. 3 in the pylon, 1 in the hoola hoop. Points are cancelled out if both teams score, so some subtraction work too :) #SACTVDSB
So nice to have a Meet the Teacher Night again! Ss did a great job of showing their families around our room with a scavenger hunt (thanks @MsJCopeland !) and our Guess Who game was a hit! #SACTVDSB
