Charli XCX explains meaning behind ‘Brat’ album cover to @VogueSingapore:
“I wanted to go with an offensive, off-trend shade of green to trigger the idea of something being wrong. I’d like for us to question our expectations of pop culture—why are some things considered good and acceptable, and some things deemed bad? I’m interested in the narratives behind that and I want to provoke people. I’m not doing things to be nice.”
Yo I love Hayley Williams too but taking writing credits from a teenager isn’t “punk rock” or anything close. It’s lame and it should be addressed. It’s not like they were looking to give paramore the credits. They requested it after Taylor got hers
If only she could apologize to Olivia for taking the money from her song
💬 hayley williams talking about paying royalties to tour merchandise designers and supporting fan artists during her brain freeze interview with common revolt:
tyler common: in a world of like generative ai, all this bullshit, you've started giving royalties to the people that have worked on your merch and you've just have hired fans and stuff, which i think is incredible and it's something that's if anyone doesn't know, royalties for merch is not normal. i think that's so cool. i guess what was your like thought process in doing that and also why don't more artists do that?
hayley williams: it should be normal. it really should be normal, because that t-shirt exists in perpetuity. like that design is there. and you know, growing up in that world, it was like sometimes it's like 500 bucks to a designer, and then you go sell, especially if your band's doing well, you're selling tens of thousands of dollars. sometimes you're selling more than that. it just doesn't feel fair. i get a royalty for the songs that i write. you know, that's a whole other conversation. but i think it should be the norm. i think it should be an industry-wide switch-up that needs to happen. and you know, i haven't done a whole lot of campaigning around it, but i'm trying to do the work behind it.

Take whatever wife slapper Dana White has to say about men’s mental health, ignore it, then listen to what an actual man like Macho Man Randy Savage says regarding handling male emotions
Dana White explains why he hates men's mental health culture
"I hate this whole men's mental health stuff that they talk about. Unfortunately, when you're a man, you are the provider, you can't be that guy posting on social media, oh I had a bad day and I'm so sad"
"It's unattractive to other males, let alone women"
Not everyone likes or experiences the same things. Just because you have a parasocial relationship with this person that doesn’t know you, doesn’t meant that everyone else should too

On any other year he wouldn’t have looked as ignorant as he does… Beyoncé is co-chair. She’s on his invitation. No matter how he feels, he could’ve prepared an answer. Men don’t like it when they’re not the main character… thats also why men don’t recognise Beyonce as the greatest regardless of her having achievered way more than Michael Jackson. US metrics by nature are about quantity but this never applies to Beyonce because it would mean the greatest is no longer a man- and Thats why this man behaved that why- misogyny.
