Geez you’re terrible
My mom married my stepdad when I was 11. At 16, I screamed at him in front of the whole family: "You're not my father. You're nobody to me."
He just nodded and said, "Okay, Rach."
When my mom died of cancer when I was 24, I stopped answering his calls. I never went back to his house in Ohio.
For 11 years, I didn't speak to him once.
Last week, my phone rang. It was his son, Kyle, my stepbrother, who I haven't spoken to since the funeral.
"Hey, Rachel. Dad has Parkinson's. He's falling a lot now. He won't ask you himself, but he keeps your high school photo on the fridge."
"Could you come see him?"
I said, "Why would I? He's not family."
Kyle was quiet.
Then he said: "He's the one who said that about himself. After you told him so."

Taraji is a 56 year old black actress. There are no roles to blackball her from. Tyler Perry is the only director who consistently writes roles for black women in her age group.
Angela gets a Black Panther every 4 years, Viola and Octavia basically have to produce their own movies to get great roles.
There is no big conspiracy outside of a lack of opportunities that black women have been telling us for years, your obsessions with conspiracies is distracting you from the real problem... misogynior

Transparency is the only form of protection Esethu can actually give himself in this situation. He's playing it exactly how he's supposed to because if he lets these intimidation techniques go, he'll be another person who let's corruption go through without consequence.

Sorry but the discourse around Tyla’s identity has exposed something that deserves to be called out: expecting Africans to understand themselves primarily through a Black American racial framework, while refusing to engage with African’s countries’ racial hierarchies and colonial histories, is a form of xenocentrism that has already become xenophobic in this case.
At some point there has to be intellectual curiosity from
BA. Black Americans are not the only Black people with histories of racialisation, colonialism or oppression. South Africa’s racial classifications for example emerged from a distinct colonial and apartheid system with its own categories, meanings and consequences. Those histories cannot simply be overwritten by an American understanding of race, simply because Tyla wants to market herself to the BA audience. It doesn’t work like that.
Tyla did not invent South Africa’s racial hierarchy any more than Black Americans invented Jim Crow or the one-drop rule. Both are products of white supremacy, but they developed differently in different places. Expecting her to reject the identity that was historically imposed, negotiated and understood within her own country simply to satisfy an American racial framework is insane.
“Being Coloured is my culture but I’m also Black.”
@Tyllaaaaaaa addresses the backlash around identifying as Coloured.
A*POP out tomorrow.

The reason the world is upset with Israel is because of the 700,000+ innocent Palestinians they’ve murdered.
It’s not because they’re Jewish. Hope that helps.

How about these farmers employ South Africans or stick to documented foreigners? Anyone thought of this beautiful idea?

My investigation also exposed how then Home Affairs DG, Albert Mokoena, invited 3 Zambian basketball players to come to South Africa and play for his team, Soweto Panthers, then fraudulently rewarded them with South African IDs.
