Lagos is not where you go on holiday
If the transport ministry wonโt fix trailer drivers as a response, this is just the start
๐จ UPDATE

Are the students too young to protest their fate
Why put up with this rubbish?
If you canโt fight how will fight the larger evil in the bigger world
There used to be LASAA guidelines for political campaign posters and banners
If only we didnโt see how institutions worked then, you would think this is how it used to be.
Now itโs just plain revenues no bone for innovation again.
Sigh
APC is a political party, you will have good, bad and ugly in there same with other parties.
There is no righteous party, not like parties are run by strict ideologies
Let people support their parties for whatever reason in peace
See the ignorance Nigeria is dealing with when it comes to LG administration
People need to be educated more about the LG operations and finances

30m will clear all salaries in most local government in Nigeria.

A litre of fuel in Libya costs โฆ32, while the minimum wage in the country is $208, which is roughly โฆ276,000. In Saudi Arabia, a litre of fuel costs approximately โฆ823, while the estimated monthly minimum wage is โฆ1.4 million. Norway, another oil-producing country, provides its citizens with numerous benefits funded by the proceeds from its oil revenues. In Nigeria, however, the minimum wage is โฆ70,000, while a litre of fuel costs between โฆ1,300 and โฆ1,900 in some places. That minimum wage amounts to a mere $52, a young chap flipping burgers at McDonald's in the US makes more than a Nigerian bank manager. Anyone earning โฆ100,000 a month in Nigeria is still struggling to make ends meet and may be closer to the poverty line than their counterparts in these countries. But does the President care? How does he even sleep at night, knowing that millions of Nigerians are struggling to survive in a country blessed with abundant natural resources?
they all travelled abroad to do this, SMH

There has to be a better threshold than strictly 100% metering.
I agree with frontloading investment in the sector but once it starts the tarriff structure to support it has to be clear too
Replying to @Canbini @kentuch005
That is only possible if you achieve 100% metering.
That is why clearing the backlog, ramping up metering & strengthening the transmission infrastructure are more important than raising tariff for me.
I also don't have a problem with raising tariff. It is just not up there 4 me
With this argument of yours, would it be fair if other bands get zero supply and discos should focus on giving those they can give 20hrs.
If some people get 8hrs, why should they pay cost reflective for same time.
Letโs bear in mind that cost reflective in not necessarily SRT
Replying to @Canbini @kentuch005
The point is you don't need to raise tariff. There is a mechanism in place for that.
Once a consumer gets consistently the 20 hours of supply. You charge 3x immediately.
Unlike fuel, there is no scenario for zero electricity subsidy.
๐คฆ here we go again
It does not require close study of this clip to understand that this was a pre-recorded address. @officialABAT was not at this venue in person. The transitions are un-natural, the camera work is a production & everything is an orchestration. The parties to the crime are many. Let them produce the clip of his promenade & a wide angle
Lolz, you believed a rail line would happen to Calabar but on that alignment ๐๐๐๐
This is a $15 billion road. We need to get value for our money.
When you divert the road to the east west road , how will you build a rail line in the middle from Lagos to Calabar ?
