Bassam Tariq’s steady hand guides #YourMotherMovie. Absolutely floored me. Deeply compelling, humanist & layered, it’s a masterful, highly stylized, character-driven piece that hits right in the gut. Mahershala Ali is at the top of his game. Not one false note.

I love that my timeline is practically a love letter to Sam Neill. A movie of his that shouldn't get buried in all of his tributes is Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Genuinely a hilarious and heartwarming movie that's severely underrated 🤍

Kenji Tanigaki’s The Furious is astonishing. I’ve been desperate for a film that moves fight choreo forward and I can honestly say, I’ve never seen anything like the way bodies move, collide and stack atop one another in this. It’s like Kensuke Sonomura unearthed a new element.
