Excited to share the single-cell adult #macaque brain atlas—our contribution to a big week of #brainatlas preprints! W/ @XingfanH, @MichaelLouisPl1, @JShendure, & @SMack_Lab—we profiled 4.2M nuclei across 30 regions from females+males. Here’s what we found bit.ly/3CL0zpQ

Really great postdoc opportunity to work on comparative demography of primate lifespans! This position led by @Samellisq and part of our broader NIH-funded project investigating how social factors influence lifespan and the pace of epigenetic aging among primates.

*Excited* to share our latest review with @LauraNewman33 & co about our team's multi-disciplinary efforts to characterize #aging and its modifiers in the @CayoSantiagoPR macaques: from immunity, to brain, microbiome, gene regulation and more. bitly.ws/zwjY 🧵👇

I'm defending my PhD in a week + 1/2 (feels strange to say)! If you're interested in hybrids, genomics 🧬, behavior, or baboons🙈, I'll be giving a public talk Wed, Nov 16 @ 10 AM ET. It's hybrid (format) (see what I did there???) so email/DM me for the Zoom link or Duke location

Great work @bergeycm! Two important public services: engaging science communication and reminding people why New Jersey is actually good.
I made a video about the only known vertebrate that can photosynthesize (with the help of an endosymbiont.) And it's found right here in New Jersey. youtu.be/u6fgsMYpEM8

Our code is available on GitHub. Raw data and count matrices have been submitted to the NeMO archive as part of the BICCN (biccn.org), but are not yet released. We are working to make these public as quickly as possible. bit.ly/3eUUNdf

This work is a collaboration between the labs of @SMack_Lab, @JShendure, & @MichaelLouisPl1, supported by @NIH @USBrainAlliance. It also would not be possible without @CayoSantiagoPR. @asunews @BrotmanBaty @whartonbrain
