Critical thinking is almost obsolete in the up-and-coming generation. I think we need to remove computers from classrooms and go back to traditional library research and handwritten schoolwork, at least through 8th grade. It’s greatly underestimated how much those two things improve cognitive abilities.

What’s causing men to resent woman so hardcore now-a-days? Recently I engaged with a post that took off, and my god, there’s an abnormal amount of men who loathe women. What’s the cause? The online dating scene? I’ve never online dated but I’ve read a ton of dating stories where women treat men like trash. Overexposure on social media? Seriously, why do you think there’s this level of resentment?

To clarify, I think what this person did was totally unhinged, but two things can be true at the same time. Her action is wildly wrong, but it’s also creative troubleshooting.
Replying to @ottosipe @Delta
I mean she gets an A+ in my book for creative troubleshooting 🤣🤣🤣

Welp, it doesn’t fly, but it does self-replicate 🤣

This guy flew into our yard tonight and the tools that exist today to clean up images are kind of mind blowing. 🦉

Why is the job market so screwed up right now? THIS is exactly what I’ve been trying to bring public awareness to over the last few years. It’s out of control. “Federal officers confiscated more than 100 devices from laptop farms in North Texas. These setups allowed North Korean operatives to land remote American jobs and send millions of dollars back to North Korea.” fox4news.com/news/fbi-raids-…

I seriously underestimated how the wrong router set up could fuck up every connected device in your house. The amount of frustration that could’ve been avoided over the last 6 years is mind blowing and annoying.

Brilliant and such an out of the box approach to solving this problem.
Lost my phone at the office and spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Find My was disabled by MDM. Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute. I walked around watching the number climb. Found it. Apparently you can just make the tool you need now. I love AI but I think I love this more ❤️
JUST IN: Ford rehires more than 300 veteran human engineers after it says AI failed to deliver the same level of expertise.

Welp, that’s pretty accurate and I’ve 100% done both 🤣

What happens when Claude Tag starts turning casual Slack conversations into actual decisions that were never formally approved? Most Slack channels are a mix of brainstorming, random ideas, side discussions, and decisions that never really became decisions. If an AI has persistent access to all of that and can act on it, isn’t there a risk that it starts interpreting casual conversations as approved instructions?
Introducing Claude Tag, a new way for teams to work with Claude. In Slack, Claude joins as a team member with access to the channels and tools you choose. Tag Claude in and delegate tasks to it while you focus on other work.

Since June 12, we’ve been working closely with the US government to restore access to Claude Mythos 5 and Fable 5. Today, the government notified us that Mythos 5, our strongest cybersecurity model, can be redeployed to a set of US organizations that operate and defend critical infrastructure. We’re restoring access for these organizations quickly, and we’re continuing to work with the government to expand access to Mythos 5 and make Fable 5 available for general use again.

OpenAI just pushed back the public launch of GPT-5.6 after the US government asked for early access. Same level of performance but only a limited preview for now. Sam Altman said he gets the safety angle for frontier models but wants a clearer process going forward. Do you think this kind of delay is the new normal or is it going to slow things down too much? Curious what people think.

Just because I engage with a topic doesn’t mean I want my entire feed flooded with only that topic. There needs to be a diversify feed filter to mix things up. Well, besides @CatFlixer and @PetFlixer you’re welcome to spam my feed nonstop 🤣🥰

Working with startup people > hey there’s this cool new tool > thanks for letting me know. I just checked it out and I agree. Let’s start using it! Working with non startup people > hey there’s this cool new tool > we already use a different tool. We dont have time to do an eval. We’re hiring someone next quarter who is going to own this. Have you talked to legal. Security will never sign off. Talk to my admin. It’s not in the fiscal plan.
