Happy publication day to THE FISH by @stubbs_writer 🎉🥳👏
A beautiful cli-fi set in a dystopian future as fish adapt to walk on the land, highly recommended by @FayWeldonWriter and @KarlaNeblett - don't miss out!

My @JoyceCarolOates collection continues to spawn! 🌟
It's really bothering me that the ones I borrowed from the library aren't here! 🤦🏻♀️😂
Although two of them were so freaky (Zombie and Daddy Love), I'm still bookishly scarred.

should I just accept "my turn" at this current time in history?
I honestly don't know how I feel about it (like I said, ambivalence) other than the fact that the saying "history repeats itself" pops into my head every time I consider it all (for some reason).
@brendon_books feel you might be interested in this thread in relation to the event I'll be involved with in November! 🌺
Still reeling from yesterday's event where I was interviewed at BookBag bookshop as part of the #AfricaWritesExeter Festival.
What a special moment.
☺️🙃💕
Go follow @bookbagbookshop and @TheRootsResist who put together this brilliant festival along with the Uni of Exeter.

This event has meant so much to me.
I'm waiting for my train on my return home thinking how without words I am to capture the feelings.
❤️
We are now back @bookbagbookshop where @malcolmrichards & Ocean Tawiah are talking to @KarlaNeblett exploring writing nature, constructing the child’s perspective & the repercussions of substance abuse in her powerful novel King of Rabbits. #AfricaWritesExeter
I can't quite articulate how proud I am to have been asked to be a part of this festival. How I wish my dad was here to see.
Thank you, #AfricaWritesExeter and @bookbagbookshop for having me.
❤️

@KarlaNeblett wrote the absolutely stunning King of Rabbits and I just don’t understand why it hasn’t had the amount of exposure which many lesser books have.
