Maybe one of the worst Dem candidates of the cycle: launched a dumb primary and then in a D plus a million year runs a lazy race against a 78 year has been/nut job, tacked way too far to the left and blew a seat that should have been in the bag.
LA is genuinely already an awful city. It’s only going to get worse. And I do not feel bad for any resident whose gonna cry and complain 2-3 years from now about it.

I have no issue with this guy being Egyptian, his cultural background or even his parents being from Egypt. I’ve been to Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and have made friends with awesome people from there.
My issue is this guy is a narcissistic liar and a piece of shit. Michigan smh

Nobody came at my election analysis more aggressively than @zach_freimark.
Rough texts. Worst calls. Cheap shots on social media—a real tough guy.
We agreed we'd talk the day after the election. I called; He hid.
Loud when he thought he'd win. Quiet when the votes came in.

Sanders-endorsed candidates outperformed 2024 Democratic shares by about 5-6%.
Non-Sanders-endorsed candidates outperformed 2024 Democratic shares by about 14%.
People voted against Trump. They very much did not vote for the DSA.

I think moderate Hispanic politicians are going to be a big deal going forward.

Underrated perk of Dems sweeping is that the DSA caucus will be completely irrelevant. They’re going to be 15/250 House members and 2/55 Senators.

Winning Michigan by seven is just a lot less impressive than winning NC by 20 or Ohio or Kansas (!) by 5 or Iowa and South Carolina by 4 or Texas (!) by 12 and you should not trust people who can’t acknowledge the plain truth about this.
He does look good compared to Flanagan!

The worst Dem performance on the night, by far, came from AES.
I'm sure the progressives will claim it's still a massive victory, but it's an extremely poor showing.

getting race calls in KS-Sen and TX-Sen before Michigan is a powerful story about candidate effects.

Ken Martin has taken a lot of shit as DNC chair. But pretty hard to argue with this scoreboard.
