Unhoused folks have been stigmatized and treated unfairly forever. Having a home shouldn’t be a requirement to be treated with kindness, compassion, and understanding. We can all be frustrated homelessness exists in our society, not the people trying to survive the daily grind.

Hey @PierrePoilievre recovering drug addict here ... I went to treatment and recovery a dozen+ times over decades, achieving 1 week, 60 days, 100 days, 9 months. It took me roughly 26 years to accomplish my first year of sobriety. After which I went back out again, using and overdosing at a supervised consumption site (PLACES YOU WANT TO SHUT DOWN) before finally putting everything together in 2013. Today I have over 12 years of sobriety … let me tell you about being humbled. Going into addiction treatment doesn't solve other social determinants of health such as housing, employment and access to healthcare. You constantly mention that treatment will "bring everyone home drug free" it won't! The real success lies in what happens after treatment something you continue miss the mark on. Your simple slogans don't solve complex challenges. SMH 🙄

IT IS NOT FOUND IN UNREGULATED FENTANYL CIRCULATING IN CANADA. From the story: “Cpl. Arash Seyed of the RCMP’s federal serious and organized crime section said the BTMPS discovery is more evidence that Canadian drug gangs aren’t sending fentanyl they produce to the U.S.” Even TODAY the Trump administration claimed fentanyl is still the reason he’s hitting Canada with massive 25% tariffs.
