AgX isn't the only view transform that is resilient in terms of how it applies a saturation rolloff to a higher tonality. The DRT called '2499' for instance is just as robust. (That's the #b3d EXRs display transformed in Resolve). @Ducky3d , thought of you for some reason 🍻😊

There's so much simply factually *wrong* information floating around. So while working on that project we've been in contact with @jpznext @GencoUney Troy Sobotka, Adriano Oliveira and many others. 3/?

Released PixelManager v1.1.1 github.com/Joegenco/PixelMan… Includes new edits of AgX by me (800T) and @Mulana3D (NR2383) Includes DRT2499 and its splittone presets by @jpznext Now uses pure power function for diplays instead of piecewise function. Some clean-up and re organization.

I might end with color transformations using hsv in Desmos. I think it would be cool to have students create a 16X16 dot picture with 5 colors. Then create a color transformation of that. desmos.com/calculator/kx78om…

My fun new game is converting math formulas found in various #colourscience research papers into Nuke implementations. This particular colour model strikes me as similar to @steveyedlin’s cone coords demo, which I’d always been curious about. Adjacent to HSV/HSL/LCH - – at Paddington, London
