LithosDex launches tomorrow.
It is a DEX you run on your own computer instead of through a website.
The same program can place trades and let a miner settle them in a block they produce.
A large part of the intent was a change in fee handling.
Part of the trading fees is kept on a separate claim from the coins in the pool, creating external revenue for LPs.
That fee layer is open source and pool agnostic, so it can sit on top of any future DEX curve.

Lithos miners now have extra revenue potential when we hit mainnet. Even on blocks lithos protocol does not mine.
We added ErgoDex batching as both a candidate source, and an off chain bot which sends to the mempool.
When enabled as a candidate source, the client will pull existing ErgoDex orders from the confirmed blockchain and mempool.
It will batch the orders to their individual liquidity pools, taking the executor fee and then finally adding it to the block's rollup.
This supersedes any off chain bot transactions which were known to exist in the mempool.
When broadcasts are enabled, the client will act as a normal offchain bot.
This way lithos miners are native batchers in blocks that Lithos doesn’t mine.
Executor fees from mempool transactions you batch absent a lithos block will go directly to your wallet.

Lithos will be one of the most advanced eUTXO clients built so far. This is a pretty fair claim to make.
It is a local peer for miners, lenders, and traders.
It offers functionalities similar to P2Pool, Hydra, and DATUM, as each solve one adjacent problem we need to address.
Lithos does not replace all three products in any way, but it takes the relevant slice of each solution to create a mining peer, eUTXO process, local templates and ships them as one client, with the pool and collateral enforced on chain.

In 2026, it is known that Proof-of-Work consensus protocols, via such extensions as Prism, Parallel Proof-of-Work, or TailStorm, can achieve unbeatable throughput and also fast confirmation times.
