Ergo is a p2p network. A GPU driven PoW blockchain that secures a programmable eUTXO system that natively incorporates cryptography, assets, privacy and state economics. P2P networks are about keeping coordination low in the protocol. A p2p network that can absorb more into its base protocol requires less above it. This is why Ergo is not trying to do one thing, one narrative, instead it is trying a multitude of things possible, all while staying low in the network. That last bit is the most important part. Crypto is about minimizing control assumptions at the lowest possible layer. It should be anyway. Run a node to be a first class citizen in a p2p network. There is power in being a peer.
