Personal software for the win. Love that we live in a time where you can build something specifically for how you like to use it.
Super random, but it's been extremely fun to use agents to tune my basketball sim engine (written in Rust).
It was tuning injuries and trades during an NBA season. I have it look at trends in real NBA seasons.
Next Wednesday is @ThunderPlains! @YouVersion will be there with a booth. Come say hello 👋. Excited for the lineup of speakers this year. You won't want to miss it.

I'm looking to follow more Devs and AI people in Oklahoma. If you know of any accounts to follow, comment and tag them below. I'll start with a couple for you to follow:
@CameronPak @Kevin_Logan @MrJTroyer @jerrodtuck @vlucas @asvirts
Starting on my next side project tonight. Been one I've been wanting to build for a long time. I know things exist out there, but nothing beats personal software custom to your habits. Going to try to make it agent first.
What is everyone else building this weekend?
Having fun finally building a UI for my Rust NBA basketball simulation engine. A recent improvement is that it now sits star players in the 4th quarter when it's a blowout. Working on trade logic tonight.
I am starting Birdwell Labs, a contracting and AI consulting studio. I added an Ask Grok bot button at the bottom of my website because why not? It opens a post to send a message to your GrokBot. It's getting late. 😂

I love the ability to build simple personal software. I built a simple hours-tracking app. No fancy UI. It started with me tracking my hours in the Notes app. Now this calculates the time and pay and can generate a repeatable invoice. #personalsoftware
I would love to be able to @bot my bot in @MicrosoftTeams. I have built an AI Tech Support bot that needs to be summoned and raise IT support tasks for me to approve.
Best way to find out about new @bot features early is to follow more of the team building it:
• @samsokolin - eng
• @larsencc - eng
• @parkersmith - eng
• @krgeorge - eng
• @pengzheng_ - design
• @lingxi - eng

A excellent summary of the new changes that are great.
🌟 Claude Code on the desktop got a serious glow up. It's honestly way better.
Try these 7 new features:
1. Saved environments: save a few folders, an SSH host, or cloud as one setup and start sessions there
2. A worktree per folder, so parallel sessions don't step on each other
3. Nested sessions: ask for parallel tasks and each one reports back to the main thread
4. /btw (Cmd+;): side questions open in their own tab while the main session keeps working
5. One-click follow-ups: Claude suggests the next task, one click runs it as its own session
6. Sidebar status: see which sessions are working and which need you
7. Recap cards + a live to-do list, so you can catch up on a session in seconds
The new /btw is probably my favorite. Hard to say, these all sound great. How about you?

ANTHROPIC 🔥: Claude Code Desktop now has a new sessions hub, live session statuses on the nav bar, and more!
Users can now start, track, manage, and follow up on multiple sessions at once from the Claude Code main screen.
This "Claude Hub" experience has been in testing for a while and has gone through several iterations.
Interestingly, OpenAI was planning to release a similar experience called "magic notepad" but abandoned it.
If you use Claude Code heavily, this is worth testing!
The new Claude desktop upgrades released today are 🔥. I'm feeling all the improvements without having to adjust any of my normal coding flows. I'm impressed with the cross-session handoffs and communication. Fanning out into sub-threads is super nice.
I have said lately the products around these models are still catching up! Improvements to workflows like this are so impactful! Shared this with my team. These are some excellent updates. I would love to see the ability to select SSH on mobile as env not just the cloud.
Daksh and his team are incredible. They know a thing or two about building a solid code review agent. If you are looking to build your own, I recommend reading it. For us, Greptile feels like an extension of our team, one that eats, sleeps, and breathes code review. They have a hyper focus on making it better. They respond to feedback and ride the waves of AI so well.
i gave a talk at @aiDotEngineer yesterday called "how to build a code review agent"
it is now published in full on our blog.
some teams want to build their own ai code review agent instead of using greptile.
we help them to do that because we know a thing or two about how to do it well, and we learn a lot in the process.
this post covers our most useful advice on how to build a great code review agent:
Last night, I had Opus 5.5 work on a set of @linear issues that were small verified bugs: “/goal Yes do all of them in subagents and then greploop once PRs are up cause I'll be asleep. Create small self contained PRs” Woke up with 11 PRs with evidence. Time to look at the results.
One of the perks of being part of the @SpaceXSI Ambassador Community is hearing from amazing individuals like @mattyp, @poteto, and others! Thanks, @benln and @sunrao, for pouring into us.

What are some of the art and style you give your grok bot avatars? I'm curious to see where others landed.
My @bot surfaced some cloud sim providers. I'm looking through a handful and then exploring a homegrown solution. The pricing model is either time-based or a fixed monthly cost per device.
